CHAPTER FIFTEEN: I DON'T MIND

"I don't mind if this is all way too fast for us, but if it's you... I don't mind risking it all. I don't mind if it's you.

The whole time in the meeting, talagang tahimik lang ako at ang tanging nasa isip ko lang ay kung paano makaalis sa kwarto na 'to. I just want to leave and go somewhere else. Working with Ryland and Axel is not good, but it's not as bad as working with Timothy.

Timothy Nakamoto. The second-in-line for the head of the Nakamoto family. His parents are one of the major investors of my family's business in the province, they still invest but not as much as before. I don't hate him, I never hated Timothy. I just hated myself for being so delusional na magugustuhan niya rin ako. I was crazy for him. For Timothy.

Nag-tama yung mga mata na'ming dalawa ni Timothy, ngumiti lang siya sakin at ngumiti na lang ako pabalik to act professionally. I can't let my own emotions take over this meeting.

I had to calm down. And thank god I handled myself perfectly. Natapos na rin yung meeting at umalis na yung ibang mga modelo, I smiled at them. Ngumiti sakin si Ryland nang malaki na ikinagulat ko, ngumiti rin ako pabalik before he left with his 'brothers'.

I should have known that since Yael is Jaxon's brother, Ryland could have been related to Jaxon. Magkamukha talaga sila, pero mas kamuka niya si Jaxon, pareho silang gwapo pero magandang 'gwapo'. 'Di ko ma-explain, basta gwapo.

Chandria pinched my cheeks softly kaya napunta ang atensyon ko sa kanya.

"Hoy, kanina pa tahimik, problema mo?" bulong niya sa'kin habang hawak hawak yung bag niya.

Binalik ko yung ngiti ko sa kanya at inalis ang kamay niya sa mukha ko. I'm not usually like this, siguradong halata kay Chandria na may mali talaga sa'kin.

"Wala, pagod lang ako. Ikaw naman~" I smiled even wider.

Hinawakan niya ang kamay ko nang mahigpit at bumalik ang ngiti niya. That Chandria Kim Jules smile. I heard her chuckle and pat my back.

"Nagugutom ako, gusto mo bang kumain ng tanghalian kasama sina Jaxon tsaka yung mga kapatid niya?" tanong niya.

Oh God. I think it would be fun to get to know them but seeing Ryland today... I don't think so. I don't even want to think about it, I don't even wanna remember what happened that night. At tsaka isa pa, may lunch date nanaman ako kasama si Silas.

"Next time, may gagawin muna kasi ako." I pat her back.

"Hm... fine! Text mo na lang ako, okay?" tumayo na siya and waved goodbye before she left.

Leaving me and Silas here. Wala na rin si Timothy, thank god. Ayoko lang talaga siyang makita dito kapag nasa loob din si Silas. I feel so uncomfortable with two Nakamotos here. Ewan ko ba.

They are both strong, they have this vibe na ikanakatakot ko. It's that Nakamoto vibe, an intimidating one.

"Finally~" I heard his voice at agad niyang hinila ang upuan ko papalapit sa upuan niya kanina.

It happened too fast and now I'm on top of his lap. His smile is bigger, and his eyes are sparkling for some reason. Anong meron sa kanya? Masyado siyang excited? Tsaka teka nga lang! Nasa kumpanya pa rin kaming dalawa!

"Put me down, nasa kumpanya pa rin tayo." I spoke.

"Yep, but it's my company."
