"I killed him! I killed my first love!" I bawled in his chest while tightly gripping his shirt.

He wrapped his arms around me, but I only cried even louder.

"When I woke up in the hospital, I found a note on the night stand. It was written 'You murderer. You killed our angel friend.'" I said with a shaking voice. "It was no doubt it was from his good friends..." I trailed off. "They even kicked me out of Suho's funeral." I yelled before stuffing my face in Lay's chest. "I wasn't even able to say goodbye..." I sobbed against him.

"It's all in the past. You're fine now. You have me and good friends that will support you unlike Joonmyeon's. You'll be okay." Lay patted my back.

Suddenly, I heard the door shutting quietly. I perked up at the sound, afraid that someone else had heard my story.

"Is someone there?" I called, but no answer.

Lay looked around us before embracing me in his arms again.

"We'll go back to class when you are ready." He stated and continued patting my back.

*I hope everything will be better now...* I thought.

It was lunch time and I decided to eat with Lay and the guys to distract me. Since I was in the infirmary and I told Lay everything about my past, it kept bothering me and reminding me of his death.

"Hey dude... What happened to your face..." Luhan poked his friend's swollen cheek.

Lay winced at his touch and slapped his hand away.

"I ran into a wall." Lay lied.

"And it looks like you ran into it pretty hard. When did you even hurt your face? I clearly remember your cheek being flat from this morning." Chen asked. "It's almost as round as his." He poked Xiumin's cheek.

"Hey! I've lost weight! They're not that chubby anymore." He defended himself.

"Oh yeah? Then why are you eating half of Yixing's lunch?" Chen retorted.

"Because he offered it to me! Isn't that right Soomi?" He turned to me.

"I don't remember saying I wasn't hungry." Lay said and took his plate from Xiumin.

I giggled at them. I loved that they were able to make conversation (I think) out of nowhere about random things.

"I don't think you ran into a wall. First of all, it would have been your nose that was injured or your cheekbone, but it's only swollen near your jaw." Luhan explained.

"You know what you should be when you're older? A forensic analyzer." Chen commented before Lay could answer the deer. "And then Lay would be a detective for some reason." He added. "And then a guy with panda eyes will annoy the hell out of you two."

There was a silence. The guys had an unreadable expression on their face except for Chen who was grinning from ear to ear.

"Yeah and you'll be a psychopath because you're afraid of girls because you got your heart broken a million times." Luhan snorted.

"Where have I heard of those situations before?" Xiumin question himself, rubbing his temples. "Ugh they're loud."

When Chen was about to defend himself, Xiumin interrupted him.

"Would you guys stop before I become criminal for killing you two?" Xiumin snapped.

"Okay! Continue eating you two before he really does kill you." Lay directed the two.
