Bianca's pov
I watched as the clouds were following the car as they changed shapes. I love road trips although I wish we were driving across the country for a better reason which we not.
Mom is moving me so I can restart my life. A fresh start she called it. Maybe I need it.
"You are worthless, You just like your father" These words echoed in my head.
That's what mom said when she found out I was expelled from school, Again. Oh fuck that's not how I wanted you to find out. Argh now that the cat is out of the box I'll retell the story.
Clearly I'm my mother's worst child but guess what?! I am her only child so yeah she gotta suck it up and deal with me. Back to my story... I have no clue what is wrong with me so does everybody else. At first we all thought it was adolescence, that's what drives teenager's crazy right? Therapists say it's not, I'm just hideous.
I take staff from people without permission. Okay fine I'll say that properly. I steal staff, I blame my sticky hands. I'm good at throwing punches, trust me they always deserve them. I'm a night rider, I love nighttime with everything I have so yeah I usually fled to enjoy it. I'm an artist, I put colour in words. I don't know how I thought that would sound.
"We are here!" Mom spoke lowering the music.
I'm officially nervous. Mom thought moving to my aunt would help and a girls high school could get me back on track and I'd learn how to be girly again. I think it's bullshit too *Wink*
"You ready?" She asked.
Of course not mother!
"Yeah" I replied.
Um sorry... My mouth always disagrees with the rude voice in my head.
"Let's go then" She smiled.
We left the car and walked to the front pouch, it's a beautiful house but can someone show me where I can sit and smoke?
Mom knocked and it didn't take more than five seconds for the front door to be opened.
"You are finally here, Come in!" Aunt Oliva said.
She kissed my mother's cheek and turned to me.
"Oh Bianca, still as beautiful as always... But troublesome I hear" She pulled me into a tight hug.
Can it be a rule that you ask permission before hugging someone?
"Come in!" She ordered.
"Oh no, I have a long way to go, I better head out. Come get your things Bianca!" Mom smiled weakly.
I emptied everything I owned to the front porch while they stood and scanned and obviously said whatever shit about me. Awkward!
"So you just going to dump me here?" I asked unsettled.
"You let her address you like that?" Aunt Olivia asked.
My mom sighed helplessly and I pulled her into a hug something I never do even on a blue moon. Trust me.
"You'll be okay" She mumbled.
"And please make it work this time" She added.
"Thank you" I gently pulled away.
"Mama loves you" She giggled walking out.
"I love you" I smiled to myself.
Yikes saying that takes a good body posture and quiet a large amount of energy.
"My phone is always on" Mom smiled and Aunt Olivia followed her to her car as they carried on talking.
I turned to get a better view of the house and some tall motherfucker blocked my view.
"Your mother dumped you here for my mom?" She asked.
"Excuse me?" I asked laughing.
"Come... I'll show you your room" She said walking up stairs. I followed behind her.
She opened the door leading to some small old room.
"This is your space, stay away from mine" She spoke with a fake smile.
"Thank you" I mumbled and shut the door.
I settled in the empty room still very nervous but I'm so happy, I get to have my own room. I've always had my own room, from birth baby!
"Food will be ready in the next 15 minutes" Someone banged the door.
They better be serving good food!

I joined them on the main table. Just the 4 of us. Aunt Olivia, Her husband and their daughter. A cute family, I'll admit.
I still wonder how it feels to have a full mother and father, same house type of family.
My dad was convicted when I was 8. I don't know and I don't care why. I just love the annual letters I received from him, Beginning of the year, my birthday and new year's eve. They are perfect!
"Earth to Bianca" Aunt Olivia said.
"She's probably planning her next rebellion" The daughter said.
"Angelica No" The father replied.
"Are you okay sweetheart?" Aunt Olivia asked.
I just nodded and excused myself.
"It's your turn to wash the dishes" Angelic said or whatever her name is.
"Angelica quit this nonsense right now" The father spoke again.
"Good night" I exclaimed from the stairs.
"Good Night" The adults simultaneously replied.
A smile formed on my dry lips. I'll finally have peace, without adults continuously telling me I'm insane and I'll rot on jail like my dad. Bluh Bluh Bluh!
Excuse me! I learnt to recite that when I'm being told hurtful things and It helps. Now I don't remember all the hurtful things they said. Right!
I sat on the comfy bed and thought about how I'll redecorate this room. I can put up a few artworks right? Yeah that could really work.
I began to unpack my clothes from my ripped bags into the wooden closet.
"Get some rest, It's school tomorrow" Aunty knocked on my door.
I whined quietly and turned the lights off.
It took a while before I caught sleep. The only thing in my head was the fresh start... Maybe I need it.
