Yolanda's pov.
"I'll pick you up in the next hour, Hurry babies" She blew kisses and drove away.
"What kind of person is she?" Bianca asked.
"My aunt is such a darling" I smiled.
"No dummy, I mean your sister" Bianca laughed.
"Oh fuck, lasy time I checked Ama is very girly yet unruly" I shrung my shoulders.
"What gift do you have in mind?" She asked.
"What if I said I am counting on you on this one" I laughed.
On a serious note, I am counting on her here.
"Sweet tooth?" She asked.
"With no doubt, Yes!" I replied.
That bitch used to steal any sweet thing in my room and leave wraps behind to make me believe I ate the sweet.
"We can get her a small box of her favorite types of candy and chocolate" She suggested.
"Gosh she'd die for that!" I assured Bianca.
"One gift down, What else?" She asked.
"Well... I have always wanted to buy her a support Teddy so she can hug and cuddle with it in times of heartbreaks and discomfort hense I am miles away from her" I spoke.
I want her to know I am physically far away from her but spiritually close.
"That's so sweet" Bianca mumbled.
"A had a support teddy bear from my dad but I burnt it when I was made to believe he doesn't care for me and I regret it every day. I should have known better. I even believe that the bear was a lucky charm and It chased my bad dreams away" She smiled as she clearly thought about it.
"Last gift down!" We fist pumped.
"Can we get ice cream after?" I asked.
"They say you can't buy happiness but you can buy ice cream so yes!" She exclaimed.
Bianca's pov.
Gift shopping was good, Yolanda is a whole blessing! We got deeper into conversation and she confessed to being scared if going home after so long. She is scared her mother will not agree that she has really changed.
"So you coming with us?" Aunty asked me.
"I'd love to meet the rest of the family, so yeah" I laughed.
Yolanda interlocked our hands and It made me believe I have made the right choice on going with them to the east.
"Plus you need a break from all this Angelica drama" Yolanda added.
"Now I just have to get through your Aunt, I'll use a white lie so she can release you tonight" Yolanda's aunt chuckled.
"Wuu okay" I took a deep breath letting myself out of the car.

Yolanda helped me pack a few outfits for the whole weekend and Yes I am so happy. I need to distract myself from my life and all the distresses and difficulties. Besides, I need to give this family time to repair since it seems like I am destroying it like I did with mine.
We sat on the stairs waiting for the next instructions.
I could hear the two aunts speak from the sitting room.
"Just keep a close eye on her, she is... Troublesome" My aunt spoke.
"And keep any thing that is capable of starting a fire" She added.
