Yolanda's pov.
We sat on the bathtub together, which I thought was impossible.
Her face was beaming as she giggled countless times.
"So that was your favorite highlight?" I asked teasing.
That was my favorite highlight too, the porn paid out just fine.
"Of course it was, my kitten is still happy" She said avoiding eye contact.
"I'm so glad I met you" I said smiling.
"I'm not glad I met your childhood best friend, she's a bitch" I groaned.
"But I am glad you didn't rearrange her face!" I smirked making her laugh.
"You know I was not going to hesitate to do it if you weren't around" she said unapologetically.
"That's another reason I'm here, to make things right Bee" I said watching her think hard.
"You not feeling pitiful, are you?" She asked.
"Why would I, I was there too and there's no harm in helping a friend" I said holding her hand.
"A friend huh?" She lightened up again.
I love the sudden rains then sunshine then winds. That's her mood patterns but I just love them.
"Quit staring" She laughed.
"Sorry" I smirked.
We quickly dried ourselves and went to bed. Tonight was amazing, wait... Last night was amazing.
She cuddled me till my eyes grew heavy.

A knock on the door woke us up.
"Get dressed" I whispered to Bianca.
"Breakfast is ready" Mom said.
"Coming" I replied.
I planted a kiss on Bianca's sleepy head.
We joined the rest of the family for breakfast.
"Where are your friends?" Mama asked.
"They left early" Ama replied.
"Settle down, I have a speech prepared" Amanda smacked her coffee mug with a spoon.
"Woah! You'll finish my cutlery" Mama shouted stopping her and we all laughed out loud.
"Thank you so much for the birthday celebration and for the gifts I haven't opened. My last year's birthday wish was granted yesterday by Ma and Pa" She said with a weak smile.
"I wanted you to know that you are still loved and appreciated, Yollie. My wish was for you to be happy..." She handed me a small box.
If you were as stupid as I am you'd that she is proposing
"You old enough now, you deserve it" mama said.
"How'd the spotlight move from the sixteen year old to me?" I asked laughing.
"Just open the fucken box" Papa laughed.
I opened it and screamed. Is it what I think it is? Goodness it is! No it's not a ring, it's something worth my time and energy.
"It's outside, I fixed it for you" Papa exclaimed.
I ran out and it was packed there, newly painted and fixed.
"You fixed Nala" I screamed louder.
"Like your mother said, You deserve it. Amanda convinced us to fix it and gift it to you" Pa said.
"Couldn't it wait for my birthday?"I asked still overly excited.
"Nope, It was her birthday wish so she insisted" Ma replied.
Lemme take you back to when it started. I taught myself how to drive with my father's first car and once or twice a month I'd steal it for partying outside the block.
Nala was my favourite car, not because it was my getaway car but because it is an old BMW model and because it was named after my pet fish that died the day it was bought. I got too attached to that fish, I fed it about 10 times the day I bought it and It was dead when I woke up.
Bianca's pov.
I got home, honestly I am not happy I am here. The atmosphere is still the same, boring and dull.
I began to unpack and prepare for Monday.
I laid on my back and began to reminisce on the best highlights of the weekend from the sex to the party then the most recent one, being told about Nala and watching her eyes lighten as she talks about that car.
A knock on my door interrupted my dreamy moment.
Angelica pushed my door open.
"Yes it's safe to come in almighty Angelica" I said with sarcasm.
"My mom is asking to... See you" She said leaving my door open.
I wore my slippers and followed behind her.
"Sit down baby" She said pulling out a chair for me.
Special treatment? Sweet!
"Hope you had an amazing weekend" She said with a weak smile.
"It was better than being here, yes I did" I smiled back.
"While you were away, I got to speak to Angelica and I... I got to hear some interesting things that have been going on" She said fidgeting.
"Interesting huh?" I mumbled.
"She admitted to hiding the weed in your room" She said still avoiding eye contact.
"Oh you didn't know? Well I did" I smiled weakly.
"Although she said she did it because you beat her up at a party, is that not true?" She asked.
"It is" I replied honestly.
"Why?" She asked
"Didn't she tell you?" I asked turning to Angelica and she still had her resting bitch face.
"I asked you" Aunt replied.
"Remember when I thought Yolanda told the school all about my life, well like you said she was innocent and your daughter was the real culprit" I said turning to look at her.
"Well she has something to say" Aunt said.
"I wanted to apologize for everything I have put you through, I can't even justify for my actions. Truce?" She put out her hand.
"Yolanda will have to he home to see this one" I laughed out annoyed.
"Well about her too... We had a house rule that friends are only allowed on weekends" She said.
"Great!" I faked a smile.
"Imma cook your uncles favorite meal, food will be ready in an hour" She said lighting up.
"I won't be available, I am full and I have to rest. School tomorrow. Don't stress though, You just earned another family night coupon" I smiled leaving the two seated there.
It's about to be a great week, I can sense it!
