I stumbled to my feet and planted them in my place. That was until Heimdall tackled me to the floor smushing me.

"Y/n! Oh gods! It's been too long!" He shouted hugging me tightly.

"Ah! Heimdall! Yes, you too! But I'm suffocating-" he quickly got up and held out a hand for me to grab. I dusted myself off and gave him a small smile before punching his arm slightly.

"I guess you really missed your favorite Asgardian, huh?" I teased and he laughed at me.

"Well of course I did. Where are you off to these days?" He asked leading me to the rainbow bridge, where we would eventually part.

"Just being a measly Earthling." I laughed and he chuckled.

"It can't be that bad!" He laughed along with me and I smiled. He was right. It wasn't.

"Yeah, I guess it's bearable." I smirked and he ushered me to get going.

"I'm assuming you are here for Frigga?" He asked while showing me to my horse and helping me up.

"Of course, how is she, may I ask?" I settled down on my horse and he looked down at his feet.

"She's- she's seen better days." He looked down sadly. I grabbed his shoulder and he looked back up at me.

"It will be okay Heimdall." I gave him a reassuring smile and set off to the castle, as he waves me away.

The ride to and from the castle had always been great, but now it just felt lonely and tiring. Nonetheless I made my way to the large entrance where I was pleasantly greeted by Frigga.

"Ah my dear, it's so nice to see you." She helped me down off my horse and embraced me softly. I pulled away and looked at her and gently nudged her arm.

"How's my favorite witch holding up?" She smiled and looked a little taken back.

Months ago I would have spoken to her formally. But now I was used to Tony's sarcasm and everyone's humor. Though, she didn't mind and beamed at me more.

"I see you are fitting in just well on Earth my dear." She nodded her head as she said this and then continued.

"But I can't help and notice two others have not accompanied you on your travels here. Where had those two run off too?" I looked down at my feet and then back up to her.

"They'll  be here. I just thought i wouldn't get a head start here." I lied and she noticed. She gave me a warming smile and rubbed my shoulder.

She didn't want to pry anymore than she had. We walked through the halls talking of both of our adventures in our separate realms. And I stopped in my tracks making her turn back to me.

"Do you, by chance, have any books on Old Asgardian Mythology?" I asked with my brows furrowed and she smiled at me leading me to the library. It had been the same as when I last left. I scanned the large, open library, running my fingers across the book shelves and then stopped.

Greek and Asgardian Mythology. Book 1.

I picked it up and Frigga had made herself scarce, not wanting to disturb what I was doing. I flipped through the pages carefully and thoroughly. I stumbled upon Loki's section and smiled a bit at the fond memories we had made. Only to be more concerned of his discovery.

I continued to flip through sighing as I found nothing. I flipped a few more pages when I was stopped in my tracks.

"Y/n, Also known as The Goddess of Destruction, Temptation and Illusion." The book read.

I was shocked. Reluctantly I flipped through the section named after me.

"Y/n was born from the all hateful Goddess, Kali. In each of her origin stories, she emerges through anger to destroy evil forces. After giving birth to Y/n, she became nothing more than a mere cause of destruction. Y/n was taken in by The ancient Goddess Frigga, after Kali had disappeared." I was in shock to say the least, but I continued to read the book before me.

"After Y/n discovered her powers of many, she only caused death, destruction, pain, and the power of destroying realms. She was known as a sex symbol, as she used her powers to make men and women fall in love with her, only to use them. Kept away from everyone and everything as she was feared by all. Her purpose, had been to live whilst in misery and die a very painful death."

Tears formed in my eyes and I couldn't hold it back. I was born to be a monster. And everyone knew it.

I couldn't help but think back to when I had been kidnapped. Everything that woman said, it was true.

I stood up, drying my tears, and started to head to my room. I made sure to bring the book with me. Maybe I could read it more later.

I coward in my room for the rest of the day before Frigga asked me to join her for dinner as she had been quite lonely eating by herself.

I quickly got on a simple, formal Asgardian dress and made my way to the dining room where Frigga greeted me again.

I sat next to her at the very long dinning table and waited for the food to be brought out. The silence was deafening and then was broken by the caterers and the smell of good food that crept into my nose.

I couldn't help but notice it wasn't just two plates for Frigga and I, but two others placed down next to me. Frigga and I turned to each other confused. She shrugged and began to eat not paying attention to my worries.

It had been about fifteen minutes before the doors opened, I assumed it was the waiters again and didn't look up. But then the chair next to me pulled out and someone sat comfortably next to me.

I knew the minute they walked in and sat, who it was. I was still upset. I now know what he was hiding from me. I looked at Frigga and smiled before speaking again.

"May I be excused?" She smiled at me and then nodded. I got up and placed my napkin down on the table. I walked calmly and quietly out of the dining hall, without saying a word; in silence, I walked back to my room.

I felt betrayed.
