I see plastic bags flying around,
I see the Amazon and California forests burnt to the ground.
We emit and inhale the polluted air,
Not knowing the consequences that we have to prepare. Why can't you see? Stop cutting down trees,
The world is supposed to be filled with greenery,
Why can't you see? This is not how the world is supposed to be,
And continuing this will only lead us to misery.I see people burning fossil fuels to generate energy,
Let's not exploit the planet for our own curiosity.
I see nature waiting to show its beauty and creativity to us,
But all of its thoughts and ideas are being ignored and destroyed, regardless. Why can't you see? It's not too late,
To change ourselves and change our fate,
Why can't you see? That we only have one earth and one planet,
Mars is just a possibility,
The fate and future of the Earth lies in our hands,
It's time that we took up the responsibility.
