Real Friends

Lying awake after the nightfall,

Standing alone, as I recall,

All the hard-times and all of the dumb crap I have been through,

Remembering the few,

Who said they'll stay with me,

Giving me the confidence to be,

A strong girl to face the society,

To break my cage and set me free.

But why, why, why?

Did they have to lie, lie, lie?

Didn't they have any sympathy?

Was it cause of jealousy?

Everytime I put someone as my first,

They always make sure to break my trust.

Everytime I overcome and open my doors,

Someone bad comes in and shuts it once more.

The bad disguise themselves as the good,

I have seen a lot of them in my childhood.

I really hope to get some real friends,

And my quest to find them never ends.
