"Honey, I'm home" the sound of Law's voice echoed down the halls of the house. As he opened and closed the front door of the house.
"In the kitchen!" I shouted out for the kitchen, hearing his footsteps walking down the hall; I turned my head to see him coming through the entrance with a warm smile when he saw me.
"How was class?" I asked when he came next to me.
"Slow" was all he said when he gave me a kiss on the forehead.
"Daddy!" the sound of our two year old son's voice came out from the living room to our left.
Law smiled when he came into [S/N] view which made his [E/C] eyes light up as he stood up and came waddling over with a smile as Law pick him up in his arms as [S/N] hugged him as Law ruffled his black hair.
"Have you been good today?" he asked as he walked back to my side.
[S/N] nodded his head 'yes' as he laid his head on Law's shoulder, I smiled at the little scene in front of me as I cooked dinner for us three.
"I'm hungry" [S/N] said when he looked at the food that was almost ready to eat.
"I know sweetheart its almost done" I said when I patted his forehead with a smile.
Law placed him in his height chair before he came over to my side helping me serve the pasta that was now ready for us all to eat. I always thought if I told myself in the beginning that I would have a life with Law and a son I maybe wouldn't believe myself which made me smile warmly when I looked at our son who was covered in sauce now which made me chuckle.
"What are you thinking?" Law asked when he leaned back in his chair smirking at me.
"I'm just happy" I said with my smile growing when I looked at him.
He chuckled and smiled himself as he took my hand in his giving my hand a soft kiss.
"I feel the same, babe" he said to me with that devilish smile that made me blush.
Once dinner was done I was cleaning the dishes and drying them off as Law watched [S/N] point to his pictures in his coloring book since he was coloring before dinner.
That's when I heard a yawning coming from [S/N] seeing him stretch and rub his little [E/C] eyes, Law chuckled as he picked him up in his arms letting [S/N] lay his head down on his shoulder with half open eyes.
"Ready for bed buddy?" I asked as I dried my hands.
"Yes..." he mumbled rubbing his eyes again trying to stay awake.
"Alright, let's get you to bed" I said as Law handed him over to me in my arms.
We headed upstairs helping [S/N] get ready for bed since he was so tired to do it by himself, Law watched as he leaned against the doorframe watching me put [S/N] in his bed and tucking him in as I gave him a kiss on his forehead as he snuggled up to the stuffy that I was given by Robin.
Law came over and gave him a kiss on the forehead as well, as we turned off the light and closed the door gently to let him sleep before we went to our room getting ready for bed. I was just ready a book for school since both me and Law took medical classes we both started college together and it was fine since sometimes my classes let me stay home with [S/N] and Law had some that are the same when I was in class and if we were both in class one of our friends were more than happy to watch [S/N] for us and basically spoil them.
Law sat on his side of the bed stretching a bit before taking his shirt off as he joined me under the covers when I put my book away. I looked up at his grey eyes as he looked down at my [E/C] eyes, letting his right hand run through my hair gently.
"Now you're thinking of something" I teased him with a smile.
"Maybe I am" he chuckled still looking at me.
"And what would that be?" I asked as I laid my head on his chest listening to his heart beat.
"Just thinking about the future" he said still playing with my hair.
I hummed in response telling him I was listening to him, that was until I felt something on my left hand which made me pick my hand up seeing a ring on my finger; my eyes widen in surprise when I looked at him with a smile.
"I know its not romantic or anything, but will you marry me?" Law asked me when he looked at me in the eyes.
"I'd be happy to" I answered with a smile on my face.
He chuckled as he brought me down to kiss him on the lips that I returned happily. We laid together cuddling each other as we slowly fell asleep for the night, my heart was bursting with happiness knowing that everything was going to be alright and to have Law always by my side for the rest of my life.
