I met my Father outside of Leon's strange world of alchemy.
"Are you ready?"
He had a gleaming smile on his face. He had said there was someone for me to meet, and I was excited.
"Absolutely!!"
"Go on, you can do this by yourself... Go head to the throne room. He's waiting."
"Okay."
He gave me one last look as I skipped down the hall toward the throne room.
•••••••
I entered the throne room quietly.
The was a man about my age sitting in the throne to the left of my Father's.
He had golden blonde hair tipped with bright pink, reaching down to his back in soft waves. He had side swept bangs, and he wore a black and purple top hat.
He had on a beautiful suit, accented with hints of red lining. He was stunning.
My jaw dropped surprise as he leapt out of the throne to greet me.
"Clarissa!! My Princess! It is so lovely to see your beautiful face once again!"
He picked me up and spun me around in a circle before setting me down and looking at me, his purple gaze piercing my soul.
"Oh my! I do believe that you are... my fiancé?"
"Yes! That is right! To refresh your memory, My name is Valor, and you my princess, are the love of my life"
He beamed at me, and the memory of our first meeting came back to me;
A glamorous party, -my sixteenth birthday, perhaps?- A beautiful man, asking me to dance, and a proposal two months later. I had accepted."Ah!! Valor!! I do remember!!!"
"Thank goodness!! My beautiful ray of sunshine has truly returned!"
He cupped my chin with his palm, and pulled me in for a long kiss.
I had to tip-toe, he must have been somewhere around 6'3/6'4.
When we parted, he spread out his glorious maroon wings behind him."You are even more magnificent than I remember, my love!" He grinned down at me as if I were truly his sunshine.
I giggled as he took my hand and began leading me out of the throne room."Valor?"
"Yes?"
"Where are we going?"
"There is something I must show you Princess."
"Okay... you know you don't have to call me that, right?"
"Well, it is not so much as a title than a nickname."
"Ah! I understand now"
"Perfect! Now come along, I do hope you will adore this."With that, he whisked me out of the throne room, and began leading me upstairs.
•••••••
On the third floor of the palace, Valor brought me down a long corridor- we have a lot of those in this palace -with one door at the end.
The door was painted pastel purple and had flowers around the edges.
Valor walked a few paces in front of me, placing his hand on the shiny doorknob.
"Are you ready, my princess?"What am I preparing for?"
I smirked, and then joined him at the door."I'll take that as a yes."
He twisted the knob and opened the door.
Inside, was the most purple room that I had ever seen.
Every thing was fluffy, lacy, and purple.
The large, queen-size bed, had a purple duvet, dozens of frilly purple throw pillows- all different shades - and a purple canopy draped on top of the four posts of the bed.
The floor of the room was completely obscured by a soft, shaggy purple area rug. There were two bedside tables, and around the rim of each one, there was a string of pastel purple lights, turned on and glowing.
I stepped into my room, kicking off my shoes to feel the carpet as I did so.
My closet was open, as if on display.
The was a mannequin placed by a full-length mirror wearing a dazzling ball gown, which was obviously purple.
As I looked inside my closet, all my clothes were some shade of purple.
I looked up for a light source, (the room was glowing with a purple light) and saw more purple Christmas lights like the ones on the bedside tables strung around the border or the room.
