COULD YOU STAY A LITTLE LONGER?
Could you stay a little longer?
The night is still young
And the moon is high
like the way I feel when I feel you breathe on my skin.
Unbusy streets and lifeless places and flickering lights
Our shadows, holding hands, at the asphalt road that
wasn't made for us.
Singing your favorite song under that tree at the park
where lovers go.
I felt Lune's eyes following us
She might have wondered how you got those starry eyes.
She might have wondered how you kept
the night so alive.
She might have been so jealous of you
that she hid behind a cloud. We laughed, and kissed, and cried,
and screamed, and danced, and ran,
until we felt Sol waking up from his slumber
And we knew it was time.
You held me tight and kissed me for the last time
Uttered the words only we know and
"Could you stay a little longer?"
Although we knew it was your time to go.
As Sol's flaming eyes were piercing on our skin
we bid goodbye to the place and time
that was not made for us.But we could have never been telling goodbyes
We could have stayed together
We could have stayed foreverIf only we took the chance.
If only youtook the chance.
