Lei and I grabbed our things when we heard the bell ring and walked out the door. She started going on and on about something I wasn't really paying attention to when I suddenly had the feeling like someone was following us. I stopped walking abruptly and someone ran right into me. I lost my balance, but hands caught me around the waist and stopped me from falling.

As soon as I regained my balance, I turned around to meet the eyes of non-other than Liam. Is he a stalker or something?

"Are you following us?" I asked a bit rudely.

"No! I'm just trying to get to my next class." He replied quickly, holding his hands up in defense.

"Ooh! Here, let me see your schedule." Lei demanded.

"Here." Liam huffed and rolled his eyes as he handed his schedule over to her.

"Ooh looks like he's in your next class Sofi." She informed me.

"Oh, ok sorry." I apologized, feeling bad for snapping at him.

"No worries it's cool." He said with a smile.

"Well I'll see you at lunch Sofi. Bye Liam nice to meet you" Lei said as she began to run down the hall to get to her next class.

Liam and I continued to walk awkwardly next to each other to our class. We made it right before the bell rang. I walked to my seat as Liam went to talk to the teacher. I was unpacking my things as I felt someone sit next to me in the set that is always empty... Liam... I looked up to him and rolled my eyes.

"I hope no one sits here, but if they do, they don't anymore." He said with a smirk.

"No. Normally I sit alone back here, but not anymore I guess." I said with a slight smile. It would be nice to have someone to talk to in this boring class.

"Good. Now... I wanted to know if you were all right, you know after this morning? You left me kind of worried." He asked with concern in his eyes.

I blushed looking down at my lap pretending to fix my shirt, "Uh Yeah I'm fine" I said still looking down.

"Are you sure?" He interrogated me, "You've been looking a bit pale since I saw you in first period."

I finally looked up and plastered a fake smile, he can't know. "Yeah I'm fine. I'm just hungry. I didn't eat this morning. Lunch is after this period, so I should be fine by then." I continued to lie.

"Alright." He said, looking a bit doubtful.

I felt a bit bad for being rude earlier so I thought about inviting him to sit with me and Lei for lunch. "Would you like to sit with me and my friends during lunch?" I asked, "Y-you don't h-have to if y-you don't w-want t..."

"I would love to." He said, as he cut off my nervous stuttering with a smile.

I just blushed and snapped my head up to realize we have been talking for a good 10 minutes and class had already started. He chuckled at my shocked face and I opened my notebook and began to take notes. I could feel him staring at me occasionally, but I ignored him and kept taking my notes.

Once class was over I placed my books in my bag and zipped it up. I was going to place my bag on my shoulder when Liam reached for my strap.

"Here let me take it you look like you're about to pass out." I let him take my bag and he was right, I was tired and weak and I needed food.

"I'm just hungry c'mon let's go get lunch." I said and somehow grew the courage to grab his wrist and drag him with me toward the cafeteria. I had a feeling today was going to be an interesting day.
