Chapter Six

Y/N's POV:

After the long chat Cindy and I had, it was time for her to go.

Y/N: "It was nice hanging with you, cindy." I say to her.

Cindy: "It was nice hanging with you too Y/N."

She gives me a smile. I can't help but faintly blush at that.

Cindy hugs me and gently plants a kiss on my cheek.

This immediately makes me blush even harder.

She soon lets go of me.

Cindy: "Bye~" She says with a wave.

Y/N: "C-Cya."

I watch her walk away with her two eevees beside her.

Wow... she really hugged me.

...

For some reason... I feel like im being watched.

I turn around behind me.

Nobody was paying any attention to us.

Y/N: "Wait, where did braixen go?" I say as I realize she's not where she was before.

Sweat drops down onto my cheek in panic.

Something yellow and red catches my attention across my eye.

Y/N: "Hm?"

A sigh of relief escapes from my mouth..

Thankfully, she's just sitting by a nearby tree.

Y/N: "Phew."

I walk up to the tree and wave to her.

She looks up to me with a smile.

Y/N: "I'm glad you didn't went too far. I thought you were gone." I say with a chuckle.

A faint blush rises on her cheeks as she gets up from the ground.

Y/N: "So, how about we get some ice cream?" I say with a warm smile.

She doesn't respond to me. 

Her eyes are directly focused on something else.

I turn my head around to see her watching Cindy walk away.

Y/N: "Uh.. braixen?" I say as i snap my fingers i front of her.

She jumps as she looks at me.

Y/N: "Is something on your mind?" I ask her concernedly.

Of course she cant actually say what's wrong, but I can read her facial emotions.

..And the tone of her voice.

She gives me a smile.

Braixen: "Braixen."

Y/N: "That smile says it all." I say as I pat her on the head.

Y/N: "How about we go get some ice cream?"

I point to the nearby ice cream truck behind me.

She nods her head happily.

Y/N: "Alright. Come on."

Both of us start walking over to the ice cream truck together.

Braixen's POV:

I sit by the tree, completely shocked at what happened.

She....

She kissed him.

That CINDY kissed him.

My eyes stare directly at them.

I can feel my blood boiling inside me as I stare in complete shock.

I couldn't stop my paws from shaking. I look down onto the ground..

Does she have.... feelings for him?

Sudden footsteps are heard, causing me to snap out of my thoughts.

I look up to see Y/N coming up towards me, waving.

My anger soon fades a little as I hear his voice.

A smile soon grows on my face.

Y/N: "I'm glad you didn't went too far. I thought you were gone."

Was he worried about me?

I get up from the ground, already feeling a blush rising on my cheeks.

But back to Cindy.

There's just something that made me twitch a little when I saw her hug Y/N.

AND kissed him at that moment.

I slightly tilt my head over to the right to see her walking far from us.

Good. She's no longer nea-

Y/N: "Uh.. braixen?" He says as he snaps his fingers, causing me to get out of my thoughts.

I jump at the sound.

Y/N: "Is something on your mind?" He asks..

I stay silent at his question for a couple of seconds..

A smile grows onto my face as I look above to him.

Y/N: "That smile says it all."

He reaches his hand out to me and pets me on my head gently.

He's so affectionate~

Y/N: "How about we go get some ice cream?"

He points to an ice cream truck nearby.

I happily nod my head in agreement.

Y/N: "Alright. Come on." He says.

We begin walking towards the ice cream truck.

...

I slowly reach out my paw to hold his hand.

Before I was able to grab onto it, I stopped myself..

No, braixen. Maybe not now..
