Chapter Five

Y/N's POV:

Its been a couple of days after the day fennekin finally evolved into a braixen.

I feel like she's even happier as a braixen now, and that makes me happy too.

But I must say.. she's been behaving a little different lately.

Its not a bad thing though.

But then again, she acts strange when she's around me.

Her face would always get heated, and I always feel like she's watching me.

And sometimes she would be a little clingy. I find it sort of cute.

I get interrupted out of my thoughts as i hear a buzz in my pocket.

I take out my phone and see the message.

Y/N: "Oh!"

The message is from my good friend Cindy. She says:

"Hi Y/N! Want to hang at the park today?"

The park? Hm, sure. Its been a while since i've been there.

"Sure. I'll be there in a bit." I respond.

I wonder if braixen would like to come?

I get up from my chair and exit the room. As I walk downstairs, I see braixen staring through a window.

She must be bored.

I walk towards her, catching her attention as she looks up to me.

She tilts her head in confusion as her red eyes faces their attention onto me.

Those eyes of hers are really unique.. but anyway.

I clear my throat as i begin to speak.

Y/N: "Want to go to the park with me?"

Her bored expression immediately shifts into an excited one.

Braixen: "Braixen!!" She speaks with a smile.

Y/N: "I'll take that as a yes." I say as I laugh a little.

I grab my phone and pokeball and stuff them both into my pockets.

I walk to the front door and hold onto the knob.

Braixen is already behind me with a smile on her face.

I turn the knob and open the door.

The bright shining sun shines onto us as grass flows within the ground.

Wind gently blows against both of us.

Y/N: "Its a great day today." I say to myself.

Once both of us are out of the house, I close the door behind me.

Y/N: "I have a friend that I want you to meet, braixen. Come on."

She nods her head as we start walking to the park together.

[Time Skip]

Finally at last, we reached to the park.

The bright sunny day is filled with people with their pokemon.

Y/N: "Isn't it nice, braixen?" I say to her.

So.... where is Cindy? I don't see her-

???: "Y/N!" A feminine familiar voice calls out to me.

I look across from me to see Cindy waving to me.

Y/N: "There she is."

She walks towards us and greets both of us.

Cindy: "Hey Y/N. Glad you could make it." She says with a smile.

Y/N: "Yeah, glad to see you too. Braixen, this is Cindy." I say as i turn to her.

..Her face isn't how it was earlier. 

She silently waves to Cindy with a slight smile.

Cindy: "Hi there~" She says to braixen.

Y/N: "So how are your eevees doing?" I ask curiously.

Cindy: "They're doing great. Both of them are currently playing over somewhere."

Y/N: "Nice."

Cindy: "Oh! I wanted to show you something, come on!" She says as she holds onto my hand.

She begins to walk with me, but then I feel someone tug onto the back of my shirt.

Y/N: "Hm?"

I turn my head around to see braixen looking to me.

Y/N: "Don't worry braixen, i'll be right back. Stay right here, okay?"

She stays silent until she lets go and looks away.

Braixen: "..Braixen.."

I nod at her and walk with Cindy.

She'll be fine.

Braixen's POV:

So.. 

This is Cindy..? How come I have never met her before...

Not even when i was a fennekin...?

..Whatever, it doesn't matter.

Cindy: "Oh! I wanted to show you something, come on!" She speaks.

She reaches out for Y/N's hand and grabs onto it.

I stare at this, silent.

For some reason.. seeing this makes me a little ticked..

They begin to start walking with eachother, leaving me behind.

Where is she taking him? 

I take a step behind Y/N and tug onto the back of his shirt.

Luckily this stopped him. 

Y/N: "Hm?"

He turns his head around to see me.

Y/N: "Don't worry braixen, i'll be right back. Stay right here, okay?"

He gives me a reassuring look as he smiles.

...

I stay silent for a little until i let go of his shirt.

He nods to me as he turns around, continuing walking with her.

Braixen: *Sigh*

I'll just go sit by a tree or something..

Hopefully he'll come back soon..
