Chapter Sixteen

Braixen's POV:

Calm flowing wind blows outside against the window.

The silent atmosphere fills the entire house.. just me and Y/N in here.

A sweet and quiet morning.

Crickets chirp outside as the sun begins to rise up high.

I peacefully sleep on the bed with Y/N, cuddling up next to him..

Atleast.. so I thought. My eyes flutter open with confusion entering my mind.

Braixen: "..hm?" I pat around the bed to feel where Y/N is, hes not here.

I get up from the bed and realize hes not in the room at all.

Where is he? I don't remember him leaving..?

I walk towards the door and push it open and I walk downstairs.

Hes not even inside the house at all. Lopunny's pokeball isn't here either.

...Did he leave.. without me? w-with her?

N-no, he usually lets me know hes going out somewhere.. but where?

I walk around the whole house looking in every place I can think of.

Hes nowhere to be seen. Lopunny and Y/N left.. without me..

.....

A nearby white envelope on the table catches my attention.

What's this doing here? I take the envelope and I open it.

Inside of it is a letter with the name "Braixen" on it. I begin reading.

"Hi Braixen. Lopunny and I are gonna be gone for a bit.

Don't take it wrong, but I didn't think we really needed you to come along.

It's better to move on with a new companion than an old one I've had for years.

I'm gonna spend more time with lopunny from now on. She deserves it.

Be back soon, alright?" - Y/N.

I can feel my heart pound fast. My paws shake as I hold the note, just staring at it.

My eyes read it over and over and over again trying to understand everything, but I couldn't.

The feeling of dejection stabs my heart.

..He didn't want me to come along? spending more time.. with her?

Anger quickly builds up inside me before I tear the paper apart.

I burn the shreds of paper into a flame until it disintegrates into dust.

What the fuck... he's no longer interested me anymore?

Y/N.. why? why?

Why did you have to hurt me like this? in such a way?

I trusted you.. I l-loved you... I was always there for you, ever since I was a fennekin..

He's suppose to bring me with him wherever he goes.. i'm his b-best friend..

Does he like lopunny more? is she cuter than me? whats so great about her?

I bet lopunny has a fucking smile on her face. I bet she's enjoying my heartbreak..

But I wont let her succeed.. I won't let her take away my Y/N.

If I got rid of cindy, then I'll make sure to get rid of LOPUNNY.

I'LL MAKE Y/N LOVE ME~ NO MATTER WHAT IT COSTS..

I'LL GO OUT AND LOOK FOR HIM~! I DONT CARE.

I'LL FIND BOTH OF THEM. I'LL MAKE Y/N LOVE ME!!!

[Suddenly, I wake up.]

Braixen: *Gasp*  

I shriek in fear and terror as I immediately wake up.

My eyes pop wide open with my breathing going unusually fast.

I slowly lift up my head and look whats in front of me.

Y/N sleeps in his bed while silently snoring.. what?

Was it.. was it all just a dream? Y/N never left... it was all a dream.

I look out through the window to realize it was nothing like my dream.

The bright moon shines high in the night sky with crickets chirping in the backround.

Its dead silent outside.. suddenly my thoughts fall onto lopunny.

..This dream, wasn't like any other ordinary one I've had..

It felt so real, and I felt real emotion in it too. Sweat drops down onto my cheek.

She's bad news. Y/N would never betray me like that, I know him.

But if lopunny sticks around any longer... she'll...

...I know what I need to do.

And if I dont start now, she'll take him away from me.

I must admit.. Y/N and her have been getting a bit close.. and I need to stop that.

I carefully and slowly move off the bed, quiet enough to not wake up Y/N.

Luckily, Y/N didn't wake up and I was able to land silently.

I give a relieved sigh as I find my way out of the room. I walk downstairs and look onto the table.

Lopunny's pokeball. He always keeps it there for some reason.

I snatch it off the table with a mischievous smile. Hopefully Y/N doesn't wake up right now..

The door is just right in front of me now. I silently open it and walk out quickly.

I close the door and look all around me. Nobody is in sight.. perfect.

I quickly run behind the house and open his shed door.

In front of me are a bunch of basic tools. But theres one thing I found an interest in..

..The Axe..

I take out the axe and grab onto it tight in my paw. I look left and right and close the shed door.

Braixen: *Giggles*

Y/N will only love me, lopunny. He'll never love you..

I look over to the woods and begin to walk inside.

And he'll never get the chance too~ ❤
