My jaw literally dropped as I took in my surroundings. We were at a meadow. A very beautiful one.
I never thought something like this existed here in Angellos. This is amazing!!
The ground is filled with evergreen grass and the trees here are very tall and dense.
The place is full of beautiful flowers making the place more lovely.
I take a step forward still astonished about how beautiful the place is.
"What do you think ?" He asks walking to stand beside him
"It's beautiful" I say still admiring the place.
"I knew you would like this place"
I look at him and I see him grinning.
" How come you discovered this place?" I ask him.
" I mean, you moved here less than a month ago and you've already found a place like this. I've stayed here all my life and I haven't seen something like this ever in my life." I say impressed
" Let's just say I'm good at exploring and finding things." He says with a big smirk on his face.
I roll my eyes at him
"Okay fine.
I woke up bored one day and I decided to explore the kingdom. That's how come I discovered this place."
" So the forest was the best place to explore at that time?" I ask raising an eyebrow
" If I hadn't come to the forest, I'm not sure you would be standing here today." He says annoyed.
"There is no need to get annoyed now. In fact I'm excited your adventurous nature brought me here.At least you've done something really good for once since I met you"
"Whatever" he says walking ahead
"Heyy wait for me" I shout after him.
I try my best to keep up with him before he disappears from my sight.
We stop at a nearby lake and we decide to sit there for a while.
"This place is soo relaxing" I state closing my eyes
" Yeah... I come her when angry or stressed. It's helps me relax a bit" he tells me
" That's very cool " I say opening my eyes.
"Yeahh it is" he briefly replies
We stay there not knowing what to say next.
I begin to think about what happened earlier today and I feel my body tensed.
He notices this and he smiles at me
"Want to talk about it?" He asks softly.
Who is this guy and what has he done with Carlos?
Never thought he would be this nice to me. Like never!!
He brought me to this place just to make me feel better. So much improvement in his attitude. I don't even know what I did to earn this nice side of him
"Hey it's okay if you don't want to talk about it. I understand" he says snapping me out my thoughts
"I don't even know how to start all this. I found out just an hour ago that I need to be somewhere other than this place. i don't have much details about this whole thing since I left without waiting for an explanation" I tell him looking down at my feet.
"Well I think......"
"I know what you are thinking. You feel i should have waited for an explanation. But what could I have done? I never expected something like this.
It's like I've been living a complete lie or something. I don't even understand this whole issue. This is so frustrating!!" I say standing on my feet.
" I wasn't thinking about that tho. I completely understand how you reacted to it. In fact I was expecting you to do something worse judging from your fierce and wild nature ." He says standing up with a smirk plastered on his face.
What'sup with this boy and smirking.
Can't he go a day without doing that?
"Oh shut up!! I'm nothing like that ok. I'm very calm and sweet." I say straightening my hair
" You wish" he mutters under his breath
" Excuse me?" I ask folding my arms
"Wanna go for a swim?" He asks completely changing the topic
"Not interested" I say looking at the opposite direction
"Oh come on!! Ease up for a bit. You are too serious for your own good" he says in a dramatic tone
"Just drop it . I don't even have a swimsuit around and I'm definitely not in the mood for swimming. You can go ahead if you want to but leave me out of this." I say sitting back on the ground.
"You know you can swim in your underwear right? " He asks grinning

"In your wildest dreams."
" Fine... suit yourself then" he says removing his clothes.

My eyes go wide when I see his bare chest.
How can someone be this hot?
He is like a hot mess
Judging from the way his abs are so defined I'm sure he works out a lot.

I feel myself drooling and my cheeks start heating up

Hope he didn't see that. I quickly clean it and immediately cover my innocent eyes with my fingers.

I here him chuckle
" what.... what do you think you are doing?" I say fumbling with my words
" Going for a swim " he casually replies
" Completely naked? And with me around too. Don't you have any shame?"
"There is not need to overreact. I'm not completely naked and I'm not that shameless love. At least you enjoyed the view right?." I can imagine him smirking now
I feel myself blushing very hard. It's good that my fingers are covering my face right now. Otherwise seeing me blush like this will surely feed his ego.
"Just hurry up before it gets too late" I say diverting the attention from me.
He senses this and he gives out a light laugh
He later walks away and the next minute, I hear a loud splash of water.
" Are you just going to sit there the whole day covering your eyes or you are going to join me in here? The water feels so amazing!! Trust me"
I slightly open my eyes and realise that the water is covering his body.
This makes it safe for me to open my eyes without being scared of embarrassing myself.
After a lot of bickering about me not liking fun.
I give in to it and decide to just keep my feet in the water.
Being wet is the last thing I want right now.
I remove my sandals and I keep my feet in the water.
Carlos was right
It feels so good and relaxing.
I'm brought out of my relaxation when he does something crazy.
