👸 Chapter 23 : Delusional

"Good morning ladies.i can see I'm already making your day. Like the view huh?"Carlos says smirking

"Oh well it's already afternoon Jerk oh I mean Carlos and I don't even blame you for not knowing this since i can clearly see that you really had a lot to drink last night so it's kinda making your head spin because you've got to be delusional if you think I find you worth ogling.
Don't you think Emily?........Emily?"

I turn towards Emily to see her still looking at him as if he is a snack or something edible

"You've got to be Kidding me Em."

"Oh come on Ciara, look at him there. He's damn hot."Emily whispers loudly enough for Carlos to hear.

The smirk on his face deepens.
I badly want to wipe that stupid smirk from his stupid face

"Oh my,you are just impossible."I tell her storming into the house without waiting for Carlos to invite us in.

Come on, I can't stand there looking stupid and I'm sure I will be caught ogling again if I spend even a second standing there.

"Well Someone's got her panties in a twist."I hear him saying
He later joins me in the living room still shirtless with Emily still staring at her snack

"Don't you think budging into my  house without invitation is a little rude."he says with his arms folded

Can't he just grab a shirt or something
I think he is intentionally taunting me.
How dare him
And the annoying thing is that my brain has turned into pudding right now
I can't think of anything but his abs

"Well I think standing here shirtless in front of us doesn't really look nice."I manage to say

"This is my house remember?"he fires back

"Well your parents wouldn't like you standing here like this."I tell him

"Thank Goodness they aren't here then."

"Would you guys stop this endless bickering?"Emily finally opens her mouth to say .

"I agree since I don't want to waste this day on him. Just go and tell Mat and Bec about our arrival and you can just disappear from my sight."i tell him harshly

"How dare you talk to me in such manner. Do you know the person you are messing with . I will make sure-"

"Okay that's it! I'm leaving you two to find Mat. Do whatever you want."Emily says storming upstairs.

Such a wonderful bestie she is now .(note the sarcasm)

I say under my breath.

When she is about to climb the staircase she turns back to ask were her room is.

"Second room from your left."Carlos and I say in unison.

Can this day get any worse. Now I'm here playing responding at the same time with jerky.
Em disappears into Mat's room and I turn to face Carlos

"What are you still doing here? get lost."I harshly tell him
I don't know why I'm on the edge today

The little things are getting to me soo much this day
I think it's because of how I was woken up today. Don't blame me if I'm a little shitty  because trust me no one will like to be woken up in such a way.

"Okay now I've had enough of your nonsense"Carlos says dragging me to the dining area.

He pins me against the wall. I struggle to push him off me because he wouldn't even move. He is just too fit.

And I can't help but to get lost in his chocolate eyes.
We stay there looking into each other's eyes as if solving some puzzle or reading each other's mind

I want to push him off me but a bigger part of me just wants to stay in his arms.

"Why do you always act like you don't give a damn about me and what I do?"he mutters behind my ear making a shiver go through my spine in a way I never thought It would.

I feel a sensation lit up in my stomach. Yh I know, cliché much.
But this is making me feel weak. My legs feel so weak. If we stay like this for even a minute I'm sure I will end up on the floor.

I don't like how I'm feeling at this instant
But it somewhat feels so nice beyond my understanding.

"I can see you don't have anything to say."

"What if I told you I'm not acting."I say managing to push him off me and getting some air. I didn't even realize I was holding my breath

"Let's see how that goes then."he says making me blush

I can't even believe I just blushed Infront of him because of this little thing he said.
I think I look like a pig right now no wonder he has this annoying smug plastered on his face.

I quickly turn my heels towards the stairs in order to prevent me from disgracing myself any further.

When I reach the top most stair
I turn back to find him leaning against the wall looking at me.

I smirk down at him and walk into Mat's room.
