8:00 AM
I was feeding Hope a bottle while calling Klaus. He texted me this morning and told me to call him when I woke up. However, I woke up to a fussy baby. So once she was changed, dressed, and now being fed, I had a chance to check in with my man.
"Good morning, sexy," Klaus purred as he answered on the third ring.
I rolled my eyes, blushing though, "I look a mess. Your daughter woke me up at the crack of dawn. And we're just finally getting her to smile," I said, smiling at her as she smiled around the nipple of the bottle.
"You're still the most beautiful step mom in the world."
I smiled, "Why are you being so sweet? What's got you in a good mood?"
"My sister, my daughter, and my girlfriend are all perfectly safe and sound. Things are starting to go right and after the wedding next week... Our family will be together at last," he said.
"Maybe then we can talk about a vacation," I mumbled hesitantly.
"Vacation?" He questioned, chuckling. "Nothing soon, baby girl. There's still things to do. Like destroy Finn, and turns out... I have another sister."
"What?" I frowned in confusion.
"Rebekah is trapped in a witch's body. A witch who was locked in a witch punishment, asylum place that... Well, I had invented."
"What?" I gasped. Hope started whining in my arms and I groaned, adjusting the heavy baby in my arm and trying to feed her the bottle some more. Thankfully she took it, her eyes shutting right after. She was already tired. Well, I guess that's a good thing actually. Cause I needed some time to get dressed myself. I wanted to do some shopping.
"She okay?" Klaus asked me.
"Yeah, just cranky. Hungry and tired, I think," I told him.
"As I was saying, there's a prison for witches basically. When one of them does something wrong to the community, they get locked away. Well, turns out Rebekah ended up in the body of one of those witches and another more powerful witch helped her out. It's been over a hundred years since I had that building spelled shut so absolutely no one can escape. But this girl managed to break it. And she's claiming to be our eldest sibling, Freya."
"The one who died. The first born?" I asked while my jaw fell open.
"That's what she told Rebekah. But that's all I know. Rebekah said they didn't talk, so called Freya, disappeared into the night."
"So we have no idea how she's alive? Or if Dahlia is alive? Or if the girl is evil?"
"Nope," he scoffed. "I'm pissed about it too. But we'll have to figure that out later."
"Okay, just keep me updated."
"I will. What are your plans for the day? Why don't you go get some fresh air?"
"I'm going out later today to do some shopping."
"Where?"
"Cami said there's a shopping mall an hour away. And we really need some stuff. Diapers, toilet paper, food, etcetera. I also want to get Hope a walker. You should see how she bounces when I stand her up. It's adorable."
"Don't over shop, Danielle. Because we'll have to move everything in the matter of a week. I know how you get carried away."
I laughed lightly, "I won't, I promise."
