From outside Harry could hear yelling but he couldn't make out any words. He knew things were getting worse and he didn't know what to do. Just as he'd made up his mind and decided to go in there the yelling stopped and a sad looking Louis walked out.
"You alright Lou?"
"Yeah everything's fine"
When Louis went to lock the door Harry noticed his sleeve was pushed up a bit and saw a brand new bruise. He was sure that wasn't there before because he'd inspected almost every bruise from afar.
"L-Lou? What is that?"
Louis noticed what Harry was referring to and slid his sleeve back down. "It's nothing, don't worry about it."
Harry didn't know what to do. He knew what Louis was going through because he was too. He had this broken beautiful boy in front of him and he didn't know what to do.
They venture their way to school for an ultimately uneventful school day.
Harry had made his decision on what to do during last period.
"C'mon" Harry said, grabbing Louis' wrist and pulling in to walk forward.
"Where are we going haz?"
"Were going someplace special"
They walked for about 15 minutes before stopping at a lake.
" What the hell are we doing here? You're not going to kill me right?"
Harry chuckled lightly to himself "no Louis I'm going to show you something" he pulled Louis along until they reached a little cave by the side of the lake.
"Harry what is this place?" Louis asked, amazed by the little cave they were in. The cave had looked like someone stayed in it, there were blankets and candles and spray paint on the walls.
"It's my safe place Louis"
"Safe place? Why would you need a safe place?"
"Just to escape you know? S'peacefull"
"Yeah, yeah i know. I had a place similar to this back home in donny, a little abandoned boxcar on an old, unused train track."
"Bet it was nice yeah? I mean this cave has been my rock-no pun intended-for years. Gosh, written in these walls are stories that i can't explain"
"Yeah, i know what you mean"
They then just sit in silence and enjoy each others presence
