"Your breasts have certainly grown, dear. I hope those knights keep their eyes where it matters most."
I winced as my old instructor, Ms. Harlet, sewed the corset behind my back tighter to flatten my breasts more.
"There," she hummed and handed me my dress, before leaving, "do the rest yourself."
I nodded, trying to figure out how to breathe.
The whole area from my waist up felt sucked tight.
I walked downstairs and saw Oridan in nothing but a towel wrapped around his waist. He was freshly squeezing orange juice in the kitchen.
I couldn't help but peek behind the wall the whole time to soak in his body.
The way his large hands squeezed the orange as if it were a pebble.
His structured back that was decorated with light scars.
His toned biceps, solid abs, and the tattoos that adorned them.
He was the definition of tall, dark, and handsome, but also a bit of an asshole.
I couldn't help it. I needed to see the rest of him.
I walked into the kitchen and he didn't bother to look at me.
"She treat you well, flower?"
"No. My boobs hurt!"
He sliced another orange in half, "I have nothing to say about that. Get used to it."
Get used to it?!
Before he could squeeze the fruit into the pitcher, I hugged his arm to stop him. "May I have a slice, papa?"
He sighed and sliced the half orange into fourths, "Here. Eat it and leave."
I frowned and batted my eyelashes, "Can you feed it to me? Pwetty pwease."
"You are not a baby anymore Gloria. Do it yourself. You're chubby enough to know how to eat."
"You're calling me fat?!"
Before I could go off on him more, he placed the orange into my mouth, and I moaned at the sudden flavor that met my tongue.
He wiped the juice that ran out of my mouth off my chin, and I sucked it clean from his thumb.
He looked horrified, and I smirked, tugging his towel to the floor, "Oops."
"Gloria," he growled, "This is the fifth time this month. What is getting into you?!"
I watched him grab his towel off the ground to hide his privacy.
I bit my lip, "I just wanted a peek."
"I am your father young lady! Peek at your future husband, but not me!"
Tears prickled my eyes.
I hated when he yelled at me.
"I'll never have a husband, papa."
He shook his head and wrapped the towel around his waist again, "What are you talking about-"
"All maids die alone!"
The kitchen fell absent of sound.
"None of them have husbands," I cried, "They never find love."
"Gloria," he whispered and opened his arms, "come here."
"No!" I shouted, "If my own dad doesn't love me, how will any man?!"
