Chapter 11: Secrets

No One's POV:

Yugataro snarls loudly as he pins the blonde boy to a nearby tree. All the other kids scream in horror, seeing that one of their friends were getting attacked by a monster. As the screams echoed through the forest and towards the city border, a few lights turned on in the houses. Windows open for the tenants to see Yugataro attacking a child.

"Hey, leave him alone!" One man shouted from his balcony. "You big bully!"

"He didn't do anything to you!" A woman shouted from her window.

"Someone call the cops!"

"Let go of him!"

"Oh my god!"

More and more people began to shout and yell at Yugataro. The kids were still screaming but some ran home. With all the noise, Yugataro could barely hear himself think! A dozen police cars stopped right behind the five remaining kids, getting out of their cars and raising their guns towards the beast. Yugataro began to twitch in irritation. At one point it was too loud for him.

THAT'S IT! Yugataro thought to himself angrily. He quickly turns around towards the concerned citizens, and roars so loud that the ground shook. It works perfectly; nobody was making a sound.

The ghost looks at the trembling boy they called Nelson behind him, and then towards the blonde boy that he was holding by the throat. The two of them were terrified; but each for a completely different reason.

The blonde was afraid of Yugataro killing him. However, Nelson was afraid of not being able to save his 'friend'.

"Yugataro!" An old man on a megaphone yells. "As commissioner of Ninjago; I demand you to release that boy! If you know what's good for you! And to turn yourself in!"

"And what if I don't!?" The ghost threatens playfully with a insane grin.

"Then we will have no choice but to fire 10,000 gallons of water at you!" The commissioner replies back.

Yugataro raises an eyebrow, impressed. "Wow, I guess today's your lucky day, pal!" He says sarcastically with a fake smile to the blonde boy still crying. The ghost's smile immediately fades away into a scowl. He grabs the boy by the collar of his shirt and pulls him in close to whisper in his ear. The boy pants, finally being able to breathe.

"If you ever lay a hand on that boy, or even insult him," Yugataro tightens his grip. "I will find out, and I will kill you." He looks at the boy who's nodding his head in fear. "Now, get outta here!" He throws the boy to the ground, and the blonde immediately runs straight to the cops.

Nelson gets up and tries to get away but Yugataro blocks him with his spiky tail. The ghost looks at the freckled boy with a fond smile.

What's he doing?! Nelson mentally panics. And why is he smiling!? It's as if he......— UH OH!

"Let the boy go, Yugataro, and surrender!" The commissioner yells into his megaphone.

"You really thought think that I'm going to surrender?!" Yugataro begins to laugh insanely. "Oh no! We're still on Act 1 fools! But after the ninja return...." He looks at Nelson with a smile, and back to the others. "Then things are going to get more VIOLENT! BLOODY! And interesting."

"I command you to let go of that kid!" The old man yells again.

"NOT UNTIL THE BOY FINISHES HIS EXPERIMENT!" Yugataro roars. He grabs Nelson's hand and pulls him close to his chest. "Don't worry. I won't hurt you." Yugataro whispers to the boy.

"THAT'S IT!" The commissioner was done with waiting around. "ALRIGHT BOYS... FIRE!" All of a sudden gallons of water started firing at Yugataro.

Yet the ghost raised his left arm up, and the ground beneath them began to rise. Yugataro and Nelson were being lifted up into the sky, away from anyone else's view. It slowly stopped when they were a thousand feet in the air.
