Chapter 8: Cole

No POV:

While Yugataro went to "bargain" with the ninja; Tabitha and Mullo were waiting inside their cave home for him. It had been almost two hours since she last seen Yugataro. But it felt like years.

Suddenly Tabitha hears a rough thud come from outside. She rushes outside with Mullo on her shoulder to see Yugataro walking back to the cave. He notices the girl and rushes over to her while she races to him, her eyes full of relieved tears.

"Oh my god!" Tabitha gasps when reaching Yugataro. They hug each other while sitting down. "I was so worried!" She starts to cry in his arms.

He shushes her softly. "Shh~." He grabs her chin with one hand, and gently wipes away her tears with the other. "Hey, it's okay. I'm fine. You're fine. Heck, even Mullo's fine!" He scoffs playfully. Mullo squeaks joyfully. She chuckles a little bit, but her face hardens.

"What happened?!" She asks fearfully but with a tiny bit of anger. "What did he do to you?! And is that blood?!" She points to his hands and face.

Yugataro sighs. "Yes, it's blood."

"Is that my father's blood?" The ninja asks him carefully.

"Yes." He looks away from her when saying this to hide his smile about killing Garmadon.

"Did you kill him?" Tabitha voice sounded concerned.

Yugataro sighs again, but instead of saying it, he nodded his head. He looks at her to see that she's smiling sadly at him!

"Oh... ok." Tabitha says squeamishly. "Do the ninja know about you killing him?" Her face looked worried.

"You can say that." Yugataro shrugs his shoulders, smirking mischievously. "I saw the Destiny Bounty flying south. And it looks like they're going to be gone for a while."

"Wait really?!" She gasps unexpectedly. "Do you know where they're going?"

"Yeah, it looked like they're headed for Shintaro."

Tabitha thought for a moment, but nothing came to her mind why her family would be heading for Shintaro. "Weird. I wonder why they're going there?" She thinks out loud to herself.

Yugataro shrugs his shoulders. "Who cares! This means that with them gone, we don't have to worry about them bothering us!" She smiles weakly at this. He grabs both her hands, and pulls them towards his heart. "We can do whatever we want! We're free until they come back."

"Yeah." Tabitha says sheepishly, pulling her hands away from his. "Free." She smiles, and then stands up with Yugataro standing up next to her. Still holding her hands. "That sounds nice. Now let's wash up so we can have dinner."

"Sure thing dear!" Yugataro agrees with a devilish grin. Together, Yugataro shows her a river close to the cave. It was only a couple minutes away from it. There, Tabitha saw the perfect opportunity to tell Yugataro about her dream.

"Hey. Um Yugataro?" She starts off, sitting down on the grass, using her water bending powers to help wash Mullo, who was sitting on a tree stump. She had already cleaned herself prior to the ghost's return.

"Yeah?" Yugataro answers. He was in the water trying to wash all the blood and dirt off his body. Which surprisingly seeped through his gi and got onto his skin; meaning that he had to take them off in order to wash himself and his gi. Tabitha turned herself around to respect his privacy.

The nature ninja had learned that he was able to use and drink water for his personal well being because of his dragon half. Yet if it was being used against him then he would be hurt by the water, but not killed depending on the amount of water being used. Tiny drops of water wouldn't do anything to faze him. However, gallons of water would cause lots of damage and kill him.
