Can I make an affirmation? If so, it is that I love her every day that passes, and I want to see her face when I wake up every day, without fail. I want to go home with her and have dinner together everyday, until I die. I want to have a family to see every day, not just Monday through Friday.
Waking up next to Sucrose is one of the pleasures that I rarely experience. Her sleeping face, her tousled minty hair on my arms, and her presence. I am enchanted, I am bewitched by the beauty of her. I am spellbound by her goodness. I am bewitched by her and there is no remedy.
Between dreams, I know that she speaks to me. I know that I am even in her dreams, and at some point her dreams will come true. She slowly opens her eyes, looks at me and smiles at me.
—“Good morning, my Prince.” —She says to me and then yawns.
—“Good morning, my Sweet Sugar Princess” —I answered to her, while caressing her hair. —“How did you sleep tonight? Should we sleep together more often?”
—“Don't you dare to sleep in the couch again.” —She said as a joke. —“I slept very well, and I'm begging you to never leave me, I will miss hugging you in the nights.”
—“I would miss you too, my sweet flower. ” —I said to her.
We both woke up, folded the blankets and changed our clothes to our uniforms. We had a quick breakfast at Sucrose's home and then, after saying goodbye to Endora, we leaved and headed to our places, not before giving Sucrose a goodbye kiss.
I had few commissions this day, so I decided to see Klee when finished. I had so much to tell. And at noon, Me and Klee were already in the Main Square, sitting at a bench.
—“And did you find out what is that stone you found?” —She was more interested on a stone than her brother.
—“Not at all” —I had information about the stone anyway—“I just realized it's a clear stone with similitudes to a Vision, but that's all” —I said to her. —“And it's similar to a mythical object called Gnosidorite so...” —She cut me off.
—“Gnosido-what?” — She was confused.
—“Gnosidorite, also known as a sign for future Archons or future lovers, a mythical long story, and I really don't believe in them, but this stone is so beautiful as her eyes, and I...” — I had a tough question to make to Klee. —“What do you think about commitment and marriage?”
Klee wasn't surprised at all, because I gave her slight signs about my purpose. She knew what I was thinking about, and she supported me.
—“I know exactly where are you trying to go, my dear bother.” —She was speaking to me. —“You're considering getting married soon, and I know it. I know you can't stand not having a legal bond with her, because you already have an emotional bond. And the truth is, I know you better than anyone, and I know that Sucrose must be too valuable to change your mind about human relationships. And if you are considering getting married to fulfill your role as father to Endora, I agree with you.” —She was spilling the truth.
Marriage is a serious matter, and it should not be taken lightly. Marriage is something valuable that should be shared with someone just as valuable. And, among all the people in the world, Sucrose illuminated my insignificant life. She made me feel loved, she made me feel the happiness of having a daughter, the happiness of having a family. And if there is something I am sure of, besides that my destiny will catch me at some point, it is that Sucrose is a different person, she is special and I would like to share what remains of my life by her side.
—“Klee, Would you be Sucrose's bridesmaid?” —I asked to her.
—“For you, brother, I would blow up a lake” —She answered. —“Well, you already have my answer, now you must ask your girlfriend the question” —She was hinting at things.
I had an Idea that might be crazy but I want it that way. I decided to have an engagement ring made out of the stone I found at Dragonspine a while ago. When I saw the green of the stone, I thought of Sucrose. It was little clues, what a strange way of fate to tell me what I need to do.
After finishing my talk with Klee, I went to Marjorie's jewelry store, and asked her to turn my stone into a sweet engagement ring. She was amazed.
—“Oh, is the Chief Alchemist of the Knights of Favonius about to marry someone...?” —Marjorie asked me, blushing my face in thoughts. Mondstadt people are so gossipy, but they were right.
—“Y-Yes, I am...” —I was nervous about my affirmation. —“But I need you to keep it as a secret for everyone! If you dare to tell someone, I swear the Knights of Favonius will make you pay”.
—“Of course I'm not telling anyone, but...” —She was serious. —“Who is the lucky one?”
—“Sucrose D'azucar, my assistant” —I came closer to whisper to her.
—“Aww, The Mint Haired girl that follows you around?” —She was touched by my words. —“I hope your marriage is very happy and successful, Chief Alchemist Albedo.”
—“T-Thank you...” —I answered to her. It was a new feeling, and I liked it.
I had no experience of love, less about marriage, so I looked for the best love-advice in Mondstadt, Lisa. She was touched by my purpose, and also excited about organizing a wedding for her daugther-like old student. The fact that she would be married soon moved her so much. And the fact that she was with me made her almost cry. She told me that she would take care of all the details with Jean, but that the important thing here was how I would ask her. I had no idea how to do it, so I asked her for advice, which, before even asking, was already there.
—“Starsnatch cliff, the best romantic place in the whole Teyvat, Windrise or near the statue in Mondstadt.” —She answered to me. —“And the most important thing is that you both enjoy the place, because that experience will always be in your hearts.”
I had to plan a whole marriage proposal. Albedo was off duty.
