Chapter • 15 - Didn't work out

James POV

"Joseph and Cain, I'm finding a person to watch over the business while we are out to take care of stuff. I need you guys to find a person, preferably female, to watch over my little sister. But when you do bring the file over to me, I want to make sure the person is perfect for my sister."

"Yes sir." They say still standing there.

"Well? The fuck you still standing there for? move! Don't make me say it again." I Commanded. Damn fools wasting my time.

They both get their senses back and start walking out fast.

The only man I truly trust in the business is Junior. My father took him in when he was a kid. He grew up with my brothers and I and we bonded automatically. He is another brother to me. My family.

And I'd do anything for family.

I pick up my phone and dial Junior.

"What the fuck are you calling me for? I'm busy with some stuff." He shouts through the phone.

"We all know what that stuff is Junior. Nothing important. You need to stop this dumbass bullshit."  Silence overcomes us and We both start laughing.

"How's the little one doing? Is she loving it there? I surely did." He asks.

"She is doing fine. I just hate my damn self for not seeing it Sooner. What she went through, it's all my fault. I should've found her sooner."

"She doesn't blame you. She knows it's not your fault. Some things happen in life that we have no control over James, but you can't keep blaming yourself. You didn't know."

"Yeah I know." I grumbled, running a hand through my hair.

"Hey when can I see her? I want to meet my little sister." He chuckled and I can technically feel the wink all the way over here.

I laugh a little before replying, "Soon. I just want her to be comfortable with this environment first before letting you visit. It's dangerous, and the thought of her getting into the business makes me angry."

"You know you guys can always count on me to watch over her or protect her. You guys are my family. The only one I've ever known." He assured me.

"I'll take up your offer on watching over her sometime. But right now we are getting a maid. I hate the thought of anyone near my sister right now but we can't watch over her right now with everything going on in the business."

"Here, how about you give the maid a chance and if she isn't good then I'll watch over Kim anytime." He tells me and I think about it for a second.

I let out a long breath I was holding in, "fine. I will contact you if anything else changes." I comment and we both say our goodbyes.

If anybody can protect my sister besides us, it's Junior. So if that maid doesn't work out, then I'll assign Junior.

Let's hope for the maids sake it does.
