Chapter • 18 - Mean girls

"Kim, did you hear what's going around?" She asks nervously and I shake my head continuing to stuff my mouth with mash potatoes.

"This girl I heard in the bathroom said that your brother Leo beat up some guy in the parking lot." She tells me and I almost choke on my food.

I pat my chest and swallow what remains in my mouth before turning to face her.

"What do you mean? Did they say who?" I ask still kind of coughing.

"It's the captain of the football team. I mean I don't blame your brother, that guy is a jackass." She shrugs and I roll my eyes at her.

I'm still kind of trying to distance myself from my brothers because of everything I just found out yesterday.

I forgave them and of course I love them still, but it takes time to adjust to all this news.

"But enough about the depressing stuff, I talked to the new kid in class today. I think he is perfect." She says practically drooling all over.

I wouldn't be like that for a boy. I need to focus on myself more than ever.

"Your already preying on the poor guy." I laugh and she frowns.

"How can I not? If I see a guy that looks hot and is available, I have to shoot my shot! Plus I got his number. We're planning to hangout on the weekend." She winks and I laugh again.

If Bella is good at anything, it's flirting.

"Update me on what happens." I exclaim while pointing to my phone. She smiles and nods before starting to eat her food.

I'm about to start eating again before three blond girls strut in the cafeteria. I can see everybody get nervous of them.

Well except my brother and his friend group of course. If anything those blondies would be scared of them.

Is this like a scene those movies where they is the big bad girl group who bullies people for a living. Cause if so, my life just got a lot more hectic.

The main blonde girl has a pink flower dress that is kinda tight with a Jean jacket on. She looks like the "leader" of the group I suppose.

The next blonde girl on her right has sunglasses on, blue jeans and a purple crop top. She looks the nicest out of all three but looks can be deceiving.

The final blonde on the left is wearing a black hoodie and black ripped jeans. She looks chill and kind of seems to hate the others. Probably has had enough of their shit.

I see them walk in a full on triangle straight towards my brothers table. The leader puts on a bright smile and walks up to my brother, the other ones following behind.

"Hey, Leonardo!" She beams and my brother turns to the side just noticing her presence. The other guys at the table stop talking and just stare.

Leo looks annoyed and a little angry. He looks up at her for one second before turning the other way and completely ignoring her.

I chuckle a little and I think a little too loud because the lead blondie turns around and gives me a look of disgust.

I'm a table away so maybe she should talk more quietly.

She frowns and turns back to Leo.

"What do you want?" He seethes out while still not looking at her.

"Don't be like that Leonardo, we used to be such good friends! Or I guess you can say more than friends." She winks and I can feel the eye roll from Leo all the way over here.
