I hear a knock on my door and I tell them to come in, I see the door push open and Junior walks in smiling a little. I can tell they've read it and just don't know what to say.

It's alright, I don't know what to say either.

"So, you have another brother huh?" He says sitting down next to me.

"Yeah, I did." I whisper, looking up at him and him scrunching his eyebrows.

"We just found out he is alive though-"

"Yeah but for me, he died when I saw him get shot in front of me. That's all I've known. All of a sudden he wants to be back in my life? No, if I decide to come back then it'll be on my terms, it should be." I reply and he nods softly, understanding but probably trying not to upset me.

"If he comes we'll be ready. Guards are all around the house. You're safe." He assures me and I look back down to my feet.

Are we really though?

"I just want to make sure you guys Are safe." I tell him and he chuckles a little, finding what I said somewhat funny.

He stares at me coldly, "the real question is, is he safe?" And he gets up and pats my shoulder, then turns around walking towards the door.

He grabs the knob and pulls it, "oh and by the way, we have a surprise for you." He smiles and I see someone come out from behind him and I instantly grin widely.

"Grandma! When did you get here? I thought you left back to New York!" I shout as I run to her and squeeze her.

Junior closes the door behind him as grandma and I walk over to my bed and sit down.

"A certain somebody told me what was happening and I couldn't leave my favorite granddaughter yet." She laughs.

"Wait, who? Was it junior-"

"Liam." She says and I freeze up in shock, "Liam is a little softy when you get closer to him. There is nothing more important to this family than well, family. He told me you needed me here."

Liam said that? I mean yeah he is pretty cold but this raises him up on my brother scale.

I was expecting Oliver.

"Oh wow, yeah that's a shocker." I say still in shock.

"Now I heard what happened, but I want to know how you feel about it."

I think about what she says. What I feel?

"Well, I guess I don't know how I feel about it. Finding out your brother is alive after years of thinking he was dead. Him being apart of this crazy organization or whatever it is. Hating my fathers side of the family and I don't even know why and then him saying that he wants me to be there with him. It's a lot to digest right now." I laugh nervously and she smiles sympathetically.

"Sweetie, it's okay to not know how you feel about something. It just means you're human."

And when she says that, tears start rolling down my face. There is one thing that does bother me. One thing I have been thinking about since I got that letter.

She frowns and pulls me in for a hug. I stay there taking in the hug and the warmth of it. I love hugs. I wish I would've grown up with them, they give you this feeling thats so wonderful.

"Does he... Not love me? He just left, without any reason or explanation. And just left me there! I was alone, and with that damn monster, his father." I shout as my throat dries up and heat starts building up in my body.

All I can feel is anger towards him right now. He was my brother, but now he feels like a person who betrayed me. Just like my mother and Joe.

She tightens the hug even more. Making tiny shush sounds as she rubs my back in circles. This always seems to calm me.
