A/N: I almost forgot to post this chapter- currently in bed writing this and trying to make sure I make sense. Anyways, I hope you all enjoy the 'new' chapter 😁

The day after the misfits conversed over Alexander and his last child, Yang took it upon herself to fully immerse herself in finding out the identity of his daughter. Not that everyone else hadn't been doing the same thing, the blonde was just doing far more research than the others.

Ruby, Blake and Winter had soon given up after a day's worth of research, finding nothing on Alex's daughter and instead, decided to make preparations to finally get Weiss into the Pool of Purity.

From the newest journal, they'd found instructions as to how it all needed to be done for the first time. Thankfully, the preparations wouldn't take long but it still gave Yang time to seek out Alexander to ask him questions she wanted answering. And they weren't just about his last child but also about the other children he'd had so long ago. Like, what happened to them after the first Reaper's War. And did they have the same abilities as he did. Amongst other things.

The best place for her to find the immortal man would be the library, or so the blonde thought. She'd been reading through his second journal for the last two hours, taking notes and keeping an ear out for the old man. But so far, she'd heard nothing unusual.

Another twenty minutes passed by when she finally heard the tell tale clinks and clanks of metal and gears shifting so that a secret door could open up.
Next came the footsteps of, hopefully, the man she wanted to speak to. The footsteps stopped just behind her but she didn't look up from her notes or the journal.

"I'm gonna take a guess here; you're Alexander Schnee. Immortal man and ancestor of Weiss and Winter. You have the ability to take away corruption from humans, faunus, Reapers and even Grimm?" She said, her brow furrowing as she spoke.

Shuffling feet reached her ears until the immortal man stood in front of her on the other side of the table she sat at.

"You would be correct, Half-blood." Alex replied, eyeing the blonde closely for any sort of reaction. He received the most expantant one.

"Half-blood?" Yang questioned, finally looking up with her eyes narrowed.

"Yes, Half-blood. You were born a Half Reaper, a Half-blood. Although it seems you are no longer such a being, are you?" The immortal man questioned back, still scrutinising the younger Reaper closely.

"Uh huh. As far as I know, I was a half Reaper. Whatever Ruby injected me with changed me into a full-blooded one but also took away my memories." She answered, sitting back in her chair and giving the man her full attention.

"Hmm. It seems it may be permanent. You will need training to utilise the abilities you no doubt have. Little Reaper can be of assistance with that." The older Reaper said, pulling a chair out and sitting down.
"But enough about that for now. I suppose you have questions for me."

"Yeah I do." Yang replied, sitting forwards again and flipping through the journal to the page she wanted, deciding exactly what she was going to ask first. "What happened to both of your sons after the first Reaper's War?"

The immortal man startled at the forward question before an icy glare overtook his features. How dare the Half-blood ask him such a question!?
Gritting his teeth, he answered. "They died. Salem killed them."

"Oh. I'm sorry." Yang said, now regretting ever opening her mouth on the subject. She looked down guiltily.

"It is fine. You did not know. What else would you like to know?" Alex replied, his voice soft. His own guilt at not being able to save his children enveloping his heart and soul. He pushed the guilt and anger away, sitting up straighter in his chair.
