A/N: Looks like I forgot to post another chapter on Sunday. To be fair, it was Easter Sunday so you can't have at me this time xD
Anyways, here it is. Hope you all enjoy!
As the day turned to night and the broken moon shone brightly through thick, white clouds; a woman in red strolled through the knee-high snow in the mountains of Solitas, walking ever closer to the Military base tucked away out of sight.
She'd only found out about it through an informant that had been placed at the base. It was a good thing they had been put into the base or she wouldn't be able to achieve her goals.
Two of her lackeys had already gained access to the base, disguising themselves as soldiers a few weeks ago and relaying encrypted messages to the woman in red.
They'd done well for teenagers with no life prospects and the woman in red was impressed that they'd managed to memorise the layout of the Military Base so quickly and tell her where a certain faunus was being held.
All she'd had to do now was either sneak in and subtly break the faunus out or, cause absolute chaos and blow the place to high hell. She rather liked the latter plan but first, she needed to get through the highly secure gates and into the prison block of the base.
Fortunately, both of her lackeys were on guard duty in the area she needed to be and so that's where went.
The woman in red waited with patience, something she didn't do very often, for her lackeys to show up. When they did, she pressed a finger to her lips, signalling that they shouldn't speak and should just get the plan on a roll.
The woman's lackeys took the lead then, walking with purpose through the base without raising any suspicion towards the prison section.
They stopped for a moment, the lackey on the left; a green haired girl, quickly checked a device on her arm and silently counted down.
The gates to the interior of the prison block opened as soon as she counted to zero, a group of four guards sauntered out talking amongst themselves. They passed by without noticing anything was amiss, not even seeing the red woman and her lackeys.
Just as the gates were beginning to shut, the group of three quickly slid through and then proceeded to wait until the next group of guards came through the secured door of the prison block.
The green-haired girl took the lead after that, expertly making her way through the corridors of the prison and instead of waiting, used a forged key-card to open the many locked gates and doors.
Finally, they arrived at the control room, the green-haired girl using her forged key-card once more to open the tightly locked, highly secure door.
Once it was open, they walked in like nothing was wrong.
The other lackey, a grey-haired boy, raised his pulse gun at the man facing the many screens.
They watched as the man squinted at a screen, the woman in red's eye followed his gaze and sure enough, they were on the screen being recorded.
The man spun around in his seat, his hand going to his own pulse gun but before he could unholster it, a frighteningly sharp clawed hand wrapped around his throat. He wheezed as he struggled for a moment, doing nothing more than making pathetic noises.
The woman in red smirked evilly, seemingly enjoying the man's squirming and suffering.
Unfortunately, she could kill him. He had one use before his inevitable death.
"Open every cell in this wretched place and I won't kill you." She said, her eyes shining with malice.
She let go of the man's throat as soon as he frantically nodded and she smirked once more at how gullible humans really were.
