A/N: Well 'ello, 'ello my lovely readers!
I am so damned sorry for not updating for such a long time. I'd been struggling to write anything and no matter how hard I tried, nothing would come to me. Buuuuuut, it did in the last week and I've been able to write, write and write. Tbh is chapter is a nice 7019 words in total.
I'm happy to say there's gonna be a lot of drama coming up and the story may or may not start becoming more intense again. Aka, more interesting.
There's also smut and there is a warning before it begins in case you wanted to skip it.
Anyways! Here's chapter 26 and I hope you all enjoy it. I've also included something I realised is a little bit of a plot hole. So, happy reading!

As Alex slaved away making snacks in the kitchen, Weiss and Ruby were in the process of telling Winter, Yang and Blake, everything they'd seen in the visions of the past.

It'd taken quite some time to tell them everything, including how Alexander was in fact Weiss' biological father and that it was she who had set Salem free after being tricked by the evil woman.

By the time they'd finished, everyone was hungry and tired but thankfully Alex appeared with the snacks and drinks on a trolley.

"Feel free to eat or drink whatever you fancy." He said as he poured himself some tea.

The first to the food trolley was Ruby, having spotted the still warm plate of cookies, she used a small burst of her semblance to grab them whilst Weiss, Blake and Winter waited their turn. Yang was up next, taking a little of everything but the cookies since the younger girl was hogging them.Put Ruby and a plate of chocolate chip cookies in a room and it's guaranteed the cookies will be gone in five seconds flat and the floor covered with vibrant red rose petals. There was no keeping her from cookies.

"So childish," Weiss said good-naturedly, causing the youngest Reaper to look up from the cookies and smile a sheepish, crumb-filled smile.

As the younger Schnee stepped towards the food trolley where Ruby was still standing scoffing the cookies, she quickly snagged the half-eaten one out of her partner's hand and placed it into her mouth, winking at the younger girl as she walked past.

The young faunus' reaction was immediate, her cheeks becoming the colour of the tips of her hair.

"Share the cookies Ruby and try something else. You can't possibly survive on cookies alone." The white-haired girl said, half ordering her partner and half joking whilst she, herself, gathered a couple blueberry muffins and a cup of tea.

"Can't." Came the simple cookie-filled reply.

"Why? There's plenty for everyone." The youngest Schnee responded, rolling her eyes at her partner.

"Because I've licked them all." Came the next reply in a more embarrassed tone.

Weiss abruptly looked at her girlfriend with a not-so-very-serious expression on her face as Yang and Blake laughed. Winter simply rolled her eyes at the teenager's antics and Alex smiled a soft smile.

"How-When did you even...? You know what, never mind..." Weiss said in as serious a tone as she could possibly muster before bursting into giggles, no longer able to keep the facade of seriousness going.

Whilst Winter and Blake collected whatever they wanted from the trolley, Weiss and Ruby sat back down in their original seats, Weiss couldn't help but glance at her father. A thought popped into her head then as an image of her dying mother crept in from the recesses of her memory.

A single question floated through her thoughts, 'why did mother die?'

Without the answer, there was no way of knowing but with the knowledge her mother died just after her birth, Weiss had no choice but to think the worst.
