Hey! So a little warning here: some mentions of blood (y'know. vampire stuff.)

Sorry for any grammar mistakes.

Risa sat restlessly on the quiet train as she watched the scenery pass by from the window. Currently, she was on her way to the hunter's headquarters to drop off some medicine she had produced. Usually, she would simply just mail it over, but she wanted to take this opportunity to go visit Shiro and Emi. Shiro would still come home now and then to help out, but things have grown busy for the hunters and while it's only been a few weeks since she last saw Emi, she was rather excited to surprise her at the Academy.

But Risa grew a bit anxious as she looked up at the young blonde girl and her older brother that sat across from her, holding Ryuu close the window. Lia giggled softly as she watched Ryuu's eyes glow with excitement at the passing trees while Kousuke dozed off next to her. Risa didn't intend to bring the two along, but she had forgotten that they were coming over today to help her around the house since Shiro had gotten busy with work. But after hearing about all the incidents, she did feel a bit at ease traveling with another person by her side. After some time had passed, they had finally arrived in town. Lia quickly admired her new surroundings when leaving the quiet train station as she pushed the stroller where Ryuu had fallen asleep in. Kousuke teased at her excitement as Risa gave a soft giggle when Lia frowned at him. But Lia's attention was suddenly fixated at the large academy that sat isolated on a forested hill in the distance, still some ways from the town they stood in.

"Whoa, is that Cross Academy?"

Risa smiled and nodded. "Yes! That's where Emi is."

"Wow, how exciting! I've always heard good things about this academy. I'm a bit jealous!" She giggled before pushing onward. "Let's go see her!"

"Ah- Wait, Lia!" Risa called out quickly which caused the young girl to halt her steps. "Before we can go to the academy, we need to make one stop and we also need to get permission to visit from Headmaster Cross."

Lia tilted her head in slight confusion. "Oh! Okay. Do we need to contact him first?"

"Usually I believe that would be the case, but I have a feeling he will be at the place we're going to go to first," Risa informed as she began to guide Lia and Kousuke in the direction to the Hunters Society Headquarters.

"Oh? Alright then. Where are we headed to exactly?"

"We're stopping by the place where my husband works!" Risa smiled with a hint of excitement as she pointed to the tall building that appeared to look like a cathedral that sat in the middle of town. Lia and Kousuke's eyes lit up in slight amazement while looking at the building. As the three made their way through the oddly quiet town, Risa's eyes wandered the somewhat empty streets and began to feel a bit nostalgic from when she used to work as a hunter years ago.

After some time walking and talking amongst themselves, they grew closer to the headquarters. Risa grew quiet as she had planned not to bring the two to the headquarters, but to have them wait nearby while she went to deliver the medicine package.

The woman desperately tried to figure out how to do that.

Soon, an idea struck her when she came to halt in front of a small bakery which caused Lia and Kousuke to stop as well, shooting Risa a confused look. The young woman turned around and walked up to the stroller where Ryuu slept peacefully, reaching for the package she had brought along to deliver that sat underneath the seat.
