AROUND TWO IN THE AFTERNOON, Serenity couldn't take her eyes off the letter she's holding. She's sitting in a place where nobody could see her. The rooftop to apartment—half kilometers away from the University.
She got the permission of the rooftop occupant to stay for a while. The surroundings was filled with different kinds of flower that she can barely see the railing.
After her lunch with Roseanne, she received this letter that contain a drop out message. She almost freaked out earlier upon reading it.
She didn't expect it would reach this far. Isn't it too much? Their case wasn't disciplinary nor illegal. And she's not a minor anymore. So why? Why did the Principal handed this to me earlier?
She sigh. Today is such a bad day. Hoping her tomorrow will not.
She was walking on the empty tiny street. Siguro dahil may klase kaya walang masyadong tao.
When she was about to go down from the stairs a strong grip hold her arm and bring her somewhere. She couldn't react in shock but when they stopped inside the dark alley, she look around.
It was a guy who brought her here and there were two ladies waiting.
She couldn't breathe properly as the both of them stood in front of her. Before she could ask, she feel a hard thing hit her shoulder. She hissed abruptly in pain. Then followed by another.
A tear fell from her eyes when she could feel it. It hurts so much. Her mouth parted open, eyes closed and clucth on her position. She squatted and grip tight on her shoulder.
It's throbbing and aching.
It was later when she notice that woman—Professor Brianne's with were holding a bat. Really disgraceful. She doesn't even know her!
"Whew, I suddenly feel like I'm becoming good at softball."
"Shut it, Kianna. Your hit wasn't even that good."
She bit her lips as she feel the pain.
"I don't think that way." The woman named Kianna replied. "Look, she's crying." Binuntutan niya pa iyon ng tawa. "How unfortunate. Blame your sister for what's happening to you, little girl. She stole something that's supposed to be for me."
Serenity doesn't have any idea what she's talking about and what could be her sister's sin. Pero wala siyang kinalaman na doon—
"I heard the sister of that bitch also stole something that's supposed to be yours, Brianne." She scoffed. "What a bloodline."
Dean. She's referring to Dean. But I don't remember stealing him from her.
They were not raised to steal something they don't own.
"You must take place to your sister who stole Jayson away from me." "No one should dare."
Serenity was attempting to run but the man who brought her here was standing at the entrance of the alley for look out. If she were to escape, he will surely chase her. She don't have that strength to run.
