"are you going to keep asking?" Samwell inquired in a condescending way
"yes" Connell answered
they starred at each other for a minute of silence before Connell continued the flashback story
I've been there for five years by the time Kenny arrived. "Hey, you new?" Asked Kantmiss
"Wait, who's that girl?" Asked Connell "what-wait you didn't know there were other people?" "No, this is first time I heard of that" "You didn't see the graves outside? The extra trooper armor? The lockers?" Connell took a second to process everything that was explained
Kenny was new here and we had two other troopers with us. Kantmiss and Whitwicky.
"You had two other members of this team, and you didn't tell me?!" Connell cried "Yeah that's complicated" Samwell responded
Anyways it was just a normal day until some weird portal opened up and a guy was halfway out of it "Bruce! Listen to me now! It's Lois, Lois Lane, she's the key! Am I too soon? No, I'm too soon! You were right about him! You've always been right about him! Fear him! Find us, Bruce! You have to find us!" Said the person in the portal "That was weird" said Samwell as then he went about his day. "Kantmiss, did you take my jacket?" Asked Whitwicky "No, I didn't, ask the new girl" Kantmiss replied "Hi." Started Kenny "my name's-"
"And that's how Kenny became a member of The Prometheus" said Samwell "That was anticlimactic" Connell said "What were you expecting a giant backstory like I'm some middle aged European pharmacist saying 'When I was a boy back in Gimmelsthump'" Samwell retorted
"No. Not really" Connell replied after thinking for a minute
