"Day 11, test 37, configuration 2.0. For lack of a better option, Dummy is still on fire safety. If you douse me again, and I'm not on fire, I'm donating you to a city college. All right, nice and easy. Seriously, just gonna start off with 1% thrust capacity. And three, two, one." I lift off the ground and hover for a bit before landing. "Okay. Please don't follow me around with it, either, 'cause I feel like I'm gonna catch on fire spontaneously. Just stand down! If something happens, then come in. And again, let's bring it up to 2.5. Three, two, one." I Lift off the ground with less control and start hovering all over the workshop. "Okay, this is where I don't want to be! Not the car, not the car! Table! Could be worse! Could be worse! We're fine! Okay." I Land where I started. Dummy goes to use the fire extinguisher. "No! Uh-uh! Uh-uh!" I stare ahead, "Yeah, I can fly." I smirk.

I buy all the materials, spending weeks building the suit and a spot to put it on.....it was perfect.

My hard work paid off.

"Jarvis, are you there?" I ask.

"At your service, ma'am."

"Engage heads-up display." I say. The helmet was amazing.

"Check."

"Import all preferences from home interface." I say.

"Will do, ma'am."

"All right, what do you say?" I ask.

"I have indeed been uploaded, sir. We're online and ready."

"Can we start the virtual walk-around?" I ask, looking at every feature the helmet shows me.

"Importing preferences and calibrating virtual environment."

"Do a check on control surfaces" I say.

"As you wish.....Test complete. Preparing to power down and begin diagnostics."

"Uh, yeah. Tell you what. Do a weather and ATC check. Start listening in on ground control." I say.

"Ma'am, there are still terabytes of calculations needed before an actual flight is..."

"Jarvis! Sometimes you got to run before you can walk. Ready? In three, two, one." I begin to hover, lunging forward and flying out. I yell out as I fly up higher, spinning. "Handles like a dream." I fly lower, seeing the people below. "All right, let's see what this thing can do. What's SR-71's record?"

"The altitude record for fixed wing flight is 85,000 feet, ma'am."

"Records are made to be broken! Come on!" I fly straight up.

"Ma'am, there is a potentially fatal buildup of ice occurring."

"Keep going! Higher!" Soon Ice builds up around the suit, causing it to stop working. "We iced up, Jarvis! Deploy flaps! Jarvis! Come on, we got to break the ice!" I yell as I fall. I manually get the flaps up. The power starts just it time before I crash into traffic. I yell out and head back to the mansion and hover above it, hoping to safely land on the roof. "Kill power."

Power is killed and I fall through the roof, the piano, and down into my workshop, landing on top of a car. Dummy uses the fire extinguisher on me.

I walk around with an ice pack on my head, As I pick up a cup I notice a package, on top of it had a sticky note that said: "from Pepper."

I sit and open it to see a glass case with my old Arc Reactor. Around it read: "Proof that Y/N Stark has a heart."

"Notes. Main transducer feels sluggish at plus 40 altitude. Hull pressurization is problematic. I'm thinking icing is the probable factor." I say as I sit at my desk.

"A very astute observation, ma'am. Perhaps, if you intend to visit other planets, we should improve the exosystems."

"Connect to the sys. co. Have it reconfigure the shell metals. Use the gold titanium alloy from the seraphim tactical satellite. That should ensure a fuselage integrity while maintaining power-to-weight ratio. Got it?" I ask.

"Yes. Shall I render using proposed specifications?"

"Thrill me." I take a sip of water, and then to look at the TV.

"Tonight's red-hot red carpet is right here at the Disney Concert Hall, where Y/N Stark's third annual benefit for the Firefighter's Family Fund has become the place to be for L.A.'s high society." The reporter says.

"Jarvis, we get an invite for that?" I ask.

"I have no record of an invitation, ma'am."

".....hasn't been seen in public since her bizarre and highly controversial press conference. Some claim she's suffering from post traumatic stress and has been bedridden for weeks. Whatever the case may be, no one expects an appearance from her tonight."

"The render is complete." Jarvis says.

"A little ostentatious, don't you think?" I ask.

"What was I thinking? You're usually so discreet." Jarvis says.

"Tell you what. Throw a little hot-rod red in there." I say.

"Yes, that should help you keep a low profile. The render is complete."

"Hey, I like it. Fabricate it. Paint it." I stand.

"Commencing automated assembly. Estimated completion time is five hours."

"Don't wait up for me, honey."
