Chapter ~ 7 New Beginning

Today after spending 2 days in little sadness and pain, dad informed me to pack a bag for 2 weeks.

So here I'm.. literally dumping some good clothes in a medium sized suitcase.

Packing bags or cleaning was never my thing. Its so boring to fold your clothes then put them nicely. It takes a lot of time.

As I was dumping more clothes Lay came in.

"Oh my! Tori what are you doing? Here.. let me do it." She said.

"Yeah thanks, I'm saved after all" I huffed and sat on my bed crossing my legs.

"Go bring the essentials you need from your bathroom" she ordered me and I glared at her. Here I'm the one with Alpha genes and she is plainly ordering me.

"Dont give me that look. I'm packing for you so help me." She said in stern voice.

I pouted. But listened to her because I dont want to do the boring work.

After everything was ready. I dressed in a off white sundress with multiple coloured butterflies on it and matched it with yellow kitten heels because when we meet the Alpha there we need to be presentable. We got down dragging our bags behind us.

While descending down the stairs I saw dad waiting for us, sitting on the couch.

"Hey dad. We are done packing and ready to leave." I said

"Yeah, here are your tickets for New York. And after landing there you'll meet Eliane and you can trust her. She will take you to the packhouse."

"Thanks dad. I will miss you" I said kissing his cheek.

I moved towards James.

"You better be back early sis. Otherwise I wont have anyone to mess with." He said grinning.

I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah I can understand.. Since Lay is with me its obvious you would tell me to come back early." I smirked and Lay hit my arm playfully, her cheeks turning crimson. While Jamie was scratching the back of his neck sheepishly.

"C'mon.. you both need to move. The flight leaves in 1 and a half hr." Dad said from behind.

"Bye guys. See you soon" I waved at both of them.

Lay also bid her goodbye putting our suitcase on the seat behind and sat in the black SUV that was dropping us to the airport. We drove off, in 20 mins we were at the airport.

After checking in and all security checks, we still had 20 mins left so we decided to end up in the Starbucks. I got my Caramel Frappe and Lay got her Mocha with 2 chocolate chip cookies.

As we had finished our little feast. There was an announcement made for the passengers of NewYork flight. And it was our cue to leave.

Our tickets were of business class so I was thankfull to my dad. I sat in the Window seat and Layla beside me.

"Please fasten your seatbelts. We are ready to take off." The announcement was followed by a ding, indicating the seatbelt sign was on.

We both fastened our seatbelts and became comfy and I dozed off.

"Hey! Wakeup Tori. You're such a lazy ass. We are about to land now." Layla said shaking me.

I wokeup and noticed that we were landing. I rubbed palms and placed them on my face, letting the warmth of my hands make me fresh. I drank a little bit of water and put a mint toffee in my mouth so that it wouldn't smell bad.
