Chapter 11 ~ Bad News

Eric's POV

After the Party was over everything had settled down. It went very well inspite of my mate's revealation of being special. Everyone was in awe about their Luna and as usual some girls were quite jealous. As of now we were all sitting in the living room and chatting about stuff.

Since its midnight now, everyone started taking their leave.
Leo and Layla went to their room wishing goodnight to everyone. Mom hugged Victoria and me, kissing us goodnight. Victoria turned to me and wished me quitely and started heading towards her room and I just stood there dumbfounded. I didn't want to let her go away from me. My wolf was whining but I didn't know what to say or do.

Mum smacked my arm guesturing towards Victoria. And it clicked me that I must tell her to shift in my room.

"Eric you twat!" My wolf hissed at me.

"Okay! Okay! Chill dude.. I know what to do." I said to him trying to calm him.

"Yeah thats why you were standing here like a statue." He retorted.

As Victoria was about to turn around the corner of the hallway I called her whilst running upto her.

"I-I actualy I was uh..." Fuck! For pete's sake what am I doing?

"Its 'we' you dickhead. Not only 'you'! Now stop being a pussy and just tell her already. Her wolf is upset thinking about being away from me." He growled frustrated. And I just mentally narrowed my eyes at him.

But then I dont want to give the impression that she does make me nervous so I straightened my shoulders and smirked at her.

"You my dear lil mate, will stay in my room now. Which will be ours' now. You are NO guest to stay in a guest room."

I saw as her face lit up and her eyes wide and that blush.. oh god, she turns me on so easily.

She nodded while grinning at me.

"Help me with the bag please." She said pouting. Those lips... I inhaled deeply attempting to calm myself. Keyword- attempting.

"Yes sure mio amore. You dont have to say please." I said grinning.

We both reached her room and picked up her luggage and other things and I started leading the way to my room.

I couldn't wait any longer now. As soon as we reached inside my room I locked the door and in a millisecond I crushed her against me leaving no space.

I looked into her mesmerising electric blue eyes which were pulling me towards her and whispered.

"You're so beautiful." While I glided my fingers on her arm I felt her shiver under my touch and I could literaly imagine my wolf swooning in delight.

"Your skin is so soft." I sniffed her scent that made me hard down there and licked the spot where I would mark her.

As I went to kiss her over that place suddenly there was a knock and we jumped apart startled. My wolf growled lowly while opening the door and glaring at Layla who looked rather tensed.

Why the disturbance now?

~ Victoria's POV

As I took in Layla's state I asked her. "What's wrong?"

"I-I that-Jamie he-he said" Layla stuttered making me angry. You know that moment when you're desperate and a small thing angers you so much and there's a very bad feeling in the pit of your stomach and your heart is leaping out of your chest.

"Dammit say it Layla!" I growled due to lack of patience.

"Oour pack has been attacked by rogues."

"What!? How?! Why? How bad is the situation?" I asked.

"Really bad! We need to leave and reach there asap." Said Layla.

I looked at Eric who had a serious look on his face.

"Dont worry mio amore, i'll inform dad about this and we'll leave." He said

"We? Eric I dont want you to leave our pack just the night you are announced as the Alpha. Me and Layla will be fine. Please." I said to him. Obviously I wouldn't like it. Since i'm now a Luna I wont be so irresponsible and drag Eric everywhere with me.

"Yeah.. Tori's right. We'll be fine." Layla said.

"Okay, but you both will be going by our private jet and Leo will be dropping you both there." Eric said firmly and I knew better than to argue with him because
1. It was of no use.
2. It would waste time and thats not what I want.

We both nodded quickly and I srambled to my suitcase to change. I wore a sweatpant with a tank top and a sweatshirt over it. Pulled my hair in a messy bun. Not the tumblr messy but a real messy bun and put on black converse. While Eric talked to Leo.

In the next half an hour we were ready to go. We drove for about 10 mins and I spotted a jet ready already. Me, Layla and Leo came out of the car.

"I'm sorry I have to leave so suddenly. I'll miss you." I said to Eric pecking him on his cheeks and giving him a hug.

"Dont say sorry mio amore. Take care of yourself. Even i'll miss you a lot and I hope to see you real soon." Eric said with a half hearted smile.

We both parted our ways as well Layla and Leo came with me. We climbed in and I waved at Eric. My wolf whining not to leave our mate but I couldnt help.

After landing we directly went out and drive off in a Honda civic to our pack.

After a half an hour drive we were in packlands.

While going down the road towards pack mansion I took in the scenery. Some broken trees and mess.

We soon reached the packhouse. Which was in better condition then my imagination.

I quickly skipped inside to find Amy and I asked her.

"Where's jamie and dad? Are they okay? Is everyone else fine?" I asked her in one breathe.

Her eyes sad. "Alpha is in the infirmary. He's been injured badly and James has some minor injuries. He's fine." She answered me.

I took Layla's hand and we both bolted towards the infirmary where I found the pack doctor.

"Where's dad and jamie?" I asked him.

"Come.. I'll show you." He said in a monotone that made me afraid of what I might see.

I we reached the room I took in my dad's state. His face was ghostly pale with all those needles inserted in his arm and the light scratches along his arm and face. He looked... Drained. My eyes pricked with tears.

Jamie was sitting by dad, when he noticed us he had such a sad look that made me cringe.

I went and immediately hugged him for dear life. I dont want to loose both of them.
When Jamie pulled away from me Layla hugged him as well and I took dad's hand in mine.

"Dad, you cant leave me and Jamie. We need you here. I dont want to loose you. I want to talk to you about so many things. Please get well soon." I whispered to him.
