Chapter 14 - Get together!

Victori's POV

The barbeque is at 4 and we have one hour to get ready. And we had already decided what to wear so there's no hurry.

After our lunch James had informed me that dad is back to normal and we all rushed to see him. It was soo.. good and it felt like a weight was lifted of my shoulder to see him awake.

We had spent an hour with him. Telling him about the get together the pack is having and he said that he would also come, inspite of our opposition. Stubborn old hag.

He said he would feel good to get some fresh air and be around his pack after all this, so we agreed but told him that one of us is going to be with all the time.

Now we girls are in my old room about to get ready. We did all the girly stuff we usually do. The best of all is gossiping. We talked and talked about endless things and laughed over stupid shit. And this was exactly what I needed right now. Time with my girls.

I havent told them about my mate nor has Layla. Its gonna be big shock for them, especially mine. I can just imagine what their faces will be like. Lol!

"Earth to Tori! Go change, we all are done changing." Sasha said, waving her hand in front of my face.

I had decided to go simple yet somewhat fashionable. So I was wearing a printed maxi dress with golden and black flats.

After I changed I stood in front of my full length mirror while others were finding accesories and chatting away.

I left my dark brown hair open added black eyeliner with light peach lipstick.

Once everyone was done, there were about 10 mins left for 4 so we headed down to backyard.

As soon as I reached down I spotted James doing some last minute arrangements.

"Excuse me girls. I'll be right back. I have to talk with James." I told them and stalked towards him.

"Hey bro!" I slapped on his back.

"Dont 'hey bro' me." He said giving me an annoyed look.

"Aww!! Is my cutie sweetie brother in a bad mood?" I said pinching his cheeks and chuckling to have him swat my hands away.

"Nothing, my wolf is just antsy today and sulking about not finding his mate yet and all." He grumbled.

"Dont worry.. Even you know you are gonna find her someday. Just have patience and faith in Moon Goddess" I told him, hoping to soothe him atleast a tad bit.

"You're right. I just hope to find her soon."

"Yup, just tell me when Eric arrives. I want to be there to welcome him since he is coming here for the first time. Okay?"

"Yeah yeah!" He said rolling his eyes.

Then I spotted the girls and went towards them.

It's 4.15 now and Eric still hasn't arrived and my patience are wearing thin.

Now I understand how Jamie must be feeling.

*sigh*

Just then keith, the Beta of this pack came to me.

"James has told you to come to our main entrance. Eric is about to arrive." He said and walked of.

"Hey girls, Me and Layla are just going to go. James has called us to Welcome the Alpha." I said to Anna and Sash.

"Oh the Alpha is arriving finally! I hope he is hot." Said Sasha causing me to growl at her.
