shane alexander madej, the schools titled 'weird kid'. a lanky, cheerful, and goofy dude who is usually overlooked by the students at the school, despite his tall nature. he's usually seen at the library reading numerous books that relates to poems and poets, maybe a sprinkle of mythology as well. he's an incredibly smart kid that gets all a's on his report card and is usually teachers favorites. he gets bullied for being a nerd sometimes but other than that, he's living his little dark academia life in his small apartment he bought a few years ago with his cat called obi pretty swell.

ryan steven bergara, the school's jock and theatre kid. a sweet boy who knows when to stick up for his friends and would beat someone up if they ever made them uncomfortable, usually loses it when one of them calls him short. he usually hangs out in the auditorium or the field since he has lots of friends, who he enjoys hanging out with. ryan is also one of the openly gay kids that roams around the school, good thing that the area around him is really supportive. speaking of good things, let's talk about his grades, which are not good.
since he's always involved in sports and drama, he never has time to learn about other subjects, he calls himself a 'certified dumbass' and his friends have no idea why he's proud of it.

ryan sighed out as he stared at the report card in his hand, an average grade of c. "hey, buck up, it's not that bad." oliver, a close friend of his, patted him on the back.  ryan glanced over to his friends report card, it was mostly filled with b but there were some a's in the mix. "you've got it good, while i've got it, well, bad." he whined and looked up at oliver, who gave him a pitiful look. "hey it's fine, it's going to be okay." they tried to comfort him, but it wasn't working, something was still bugging him, but what was it?

"my moms going to hire a tutor for me now."

"a what?"

"a tutor, oliver."

oliver blinked, "why?" they asked. "because she thinks i need extra lessons." ryan huffed, putting his report card back to his bag. oliver quickly hit their head before blinking, ryan noted that sign as a way for them to reboot everything before processing what just happened. "wait that means we cant hang out after school then." they proceeded to frown, the boy nodded as he frowned as well. "yeah i know it sucks, but its for the best, so," ryan muttered before shrugging, he was kinda sad as well, they couldn't cause chaos together now.

"well, good luck on your shit, dont fuck it up." oliver ruffled ryan's hair which made him chuckle, "you just saw one rupaul's drag race special and decided to quote him already?" he asked through giggles. "its stuck now and you cant do anything about it." oliver stuck their tongue out and chuckled as well.

shane was organizing the books at the psychology section, humming along to the song that he had playing on his earphones. it was quiet, as usual, and he liked that. it calms him down.

"hey shane, remember that tutor ad you put up to get more money?" amir, who was his coworker, approached him. shane snapped back to reality as he turned to face amir, "yeah, that was a long time ago," he muttered on the last part. "why is it?"  shane proceeded to ask, "well, a mom signed her son up for it, you think you can still do it?" amir asked, shane just nodded since he really doesn't have anything to do for now.

"yeah sure, who is it?"

"ryan bergara." amir said calmly as shane blinked and flushed red,

"w-what?" shane stuttered out.

"ryan bergara, the schools 'golden boy'." amir repeated.

ah yes, ryan bergara.

shane's current crush.
