Zuko's head was resting on Sokka's shoulders, while his boyfriend cleaned his battle club. The assassin had his hood over his head, without his sunglasses, mainly because it was uncomfortable. Yue had her head laying on Zuko's stomach, the rest of her body spanning Zuko's legs, and a little bit further. Everyone was silent as they flew above a swamp of some sort. Aang was on Appa's head, and Katara was across from them on the saddle. Zuko wasn't doing anything besides basking in the presence of his two soulmates, since he didn't have anything else to do. Since the rest of Team Avatar had decided to 'confiscate' his weapons.
But flying above this swamp made him feel weird for some reason, he wanted to go done, but he highly doubted that Aang would take them down. He didn't even notice that Appa was descending, until Sokka asked, "Hey, you taking us down for a reason?" Sokka didn't get a response for a couple of moments. So he stood up, and walked over to the Airbender yelling at him, "Aang! Why are we going down?"
Zuko snapped his head up, looking at the Avatar. He blinked a couple of times, as Aang did the same thing. The Airbender turned his head towards Sokka, replying, "What? I didn't even notice."
Even Yue didn't notice, and she sat up, blinking a couple of times."Are you noticing now?" Sokka asked him, as Katara stood up next to her brother. She then asked, "Is something wrong?"
Aang turned to look ahead of him, as he stated, "I know this is going to sound weird, but I think the swamp is... calling to me." Zuko nodded his head in agreement, saying with Yue, "Yeah, me too."
"Is it telling you where we can get something to eat?" Sokka joked.
The Airbender shook his head, telling the rest of them, "No I-I think it wants us to land there."
"No offense to the swamp, but I don't see any land there to land on," Sokka stated, as Aang shook his head again, saying, "I don't know. Bumi said to learn Earthbending I would have to wait and listen. And now I'm actually hearing the Earth. Do you want me to ignore it?"
"Yes,"/"I don't know," the siblings said at the same time. Katara looked at her brother for a brief moment before looking at Aang, continuing, "There's something ominous about that place."
Momo squealed as they got closer to the treetop, while Appa growled. Sokka took this as a chance to not land in the swamp, and said, "See? Even Appa and Momo don't like it here."
Aang sighed in defeat, as he flicked Appa's reins up. "Okay, since everyone feels so strongly about this, bye, swamp." He flicked Appa's reins as he brought the Flying Bison back into the sky. That was before Team Avatar heard a rumbling behind them. The three soulmates looked behind them to see a small tornado coming at them. Sokka turned towards Aang, yelling, "You better throw in an extra yip! We gotta move!"
He stood up, and peeked over the saddle. Aang then dropped down, criss-cross, grabbing the reins of Appa. The Airbender maneuvered around, trying to escape the tornado. It was like the natural disaster was alive. It was picking up something around him, as well as Zuko and Yue's cloaks---both of them partially flying into the air. The wind picked up Sokka, and both of his soulmate's lunged for his hands. Aang then jumped up into the saddle from where he was on Appa's head. The Airbender brought a bubble of air around them, and Sokka fell down on top of his two soulmates. The entirety of Team Avatar ended up getting pulled into the tornado, and Aang struggled to keep the air bubble around them all. He lost his concentration not too long afterwards, and all of them were separated as they were sucked into the tornado. Zuko reached out for Sokka and Yue, but their hands missed the others just barely. All of them were thrown down into the swamp. Aang used his airbending to secure his landing. While Sokka, Yue, and Katara fell into the water. Zuko slammed into one of the roots that were sticking out of the water, before falling face-first into the water. He could feel his shoulder pop out of place---like it had before---but he bit his bottom lip making it bleed because he didn't want to scream. Zuko got up from where he landed in the water. He was crouched down and the assassin was leaning against the root, with his hand over his now dislocated shoulder. Sokka sat up in the water, and Aang asked, "Where's Appa and Momo?"
