They had landed while the moon was still coming up, a fire still flickered across from Zuko. He was the only person still awake, the Water Tribe siblings were in their sleeping bags. While Aang was sleeping on Appa's head, Momo was laying in Zuko's lap. The lemur had warmed up to him oddly quickly to him in the past twenty-four hours.
Zuko had his hands out, trying to manipulate the already created flames. It would go lower, and higher, when he lifted or lowered his hand. The flame would wiggle side-to-side when he moved his hand in those directions. He was still playing with it, when Momo woke up and jumped onto Zuko's arm. He tried to shake the lemur off, and the fire went haywire because of that. Zuko hit his hand on the ground, and the fire went out. Momo jumped off the firebender's arm, and ran over to Appa.
He groaned as he laid on his back, dust flying around him. Zuko dragged his gloved hands down his face, then laid them on the ground next to him. His left hand landed on top of the book that had appeared in his cloak pocket after the spirit 'Hua' had taken control of his body so she could talk to Meng. The assassin pulled it out of his pocket, reading the title.
'A History of Earth Kingdom Spirits & Facts Behind Spirit Conduits'
"'Spirit Conduits?'" Zuko whispered, and sat up. The clearing they were in was mostly lit up by the moonlight coming down. It wasn't the brightest, and Zuko might have night vision, but that didn't mean he could read well with the moonlight.
He moved towards the fire, relighting it with his firebending. Oh yeah, when Katara found out she was livid, she almost attacked Zuko for lying about him being able to firebend. Both of the other boys had to hold her back, so Zuko could explain himself. He flipped through the first couple of pages which just had dedications and such other things you see in the beginning of books. The next page then had a list of known Earth Kingdom Spirits, then below all of those, it had information on Spirit Conduits.
On page twenty-seven, was Hua. Zuko flipped to that page. A drawing of a young woman wearing a pink and light green dress was on the left page. With the background of a forest behind her, then the right page had information about her.
Hua, the ValleyForest Spirit of Love
Hua was a spirit conduit in life, and when she passed on, she became a spirit of love. She wanders the valley and forest, looking for people struggling with their love life. Whether it's getting over a break-up, trying to figure out their love life, or who they actually do love, or getting over the news of the death of a loved one. If you truly need guidance, she will appear. Either as an apparition, or possessing what she was when she was alive, a Spirit Conduit. Her true title is the ValleyForest Spirit of Love, since she was born in the area, a parent from the valley, and another from the forest. Her spirit has been bound to the area, helping people with their issues of love.
The Story of the ValleyForest Spirit of Love emerged 123 Years Ago, on December 17th, in the Village of Goliath
Zuko blinked a couple of times as he looked over the page again. The spirit that talked to him was an actual spirit. His fingers trailed down the page as he re-read the page. He closed the book, tucking it into his cloak. He moved over to one of the pouches on Appa's saddle, being able to reach it from the ground. The assassin opened the bag with the maps in it, he pulled it out, knowing exactly from where the group was. The Village of Goliath wasn't too far away, Zuko then rolled it back up, tucking it back in the bag.
Momo jumped up from the ground, landing on Zuko's shoulder. The firebender sighed. If Momo wanted to come with you, he was going to come with you.

Zuko slowed down as he got close to the Village of Goliath. He knelt down by a tree, and held his hand out. There were street lamps, that were lit up by oil burning inside. He took a deep breath, before reassuring to himself, "Okay Zuko. You can turn all of them off. C'mon." He brought down his hand, and all of the flames came down, going out. His cloak swung around his body, as Momo jumped down from his shoulder, into one of the inner pockets of his cloak.
