Wind blew around Team Avatar, as Aang moved away from Toph, he only moved to look back at her, and yell, "How could you let them take Appa! Why didn't you stop them?"
"I---I---" Toph started to say, as Zuko moved in front of her, blocking her from Aang's view. She grabbed onto his arm, as she pressed her head against his back, with tears starting to drip out of her eyes---whether she was actually crying, or if it was because of the wind, Zuko didn't know. The assassin looked at the pissed off Airbender as he said, "If it wasn't for Toph all of us would have been sucked into the Spirit World when Wan-Chi Tong pulled his library back there! Or we would have suffocated in the fucking sand for spirit sake! Don't blame her for making a decision that saved all of us. She might be a strong Earthbender, but she can't do two things at once!"
"She could have come to get us," Aang hissed as he stood in front of Zuko, glaring at the Firebender. "Then I could have saved him!"
"I can hardly feel any vibrations out here," Toph defended herself, as she peeked out from behind Zuko. Aang looked at her, as she continued, "The Sandbenders snuck up on me, and there wasn't any time for that since the library was sinking---"
"No!" Aang yelled at her. "You just didn't care! You never liked Appa! You wanted him gone!"
Zuko growled at him, as Katara came over, putting herself between the two Benders and the Avatar. She set two hands on Aang's shoulders, saying, "Aang, stop it. You know Toph did all she could. She saved our lives."
"Who's gonna save our lives now?" Sokka asked, from where he was on the edge of a dune, looking off into the distance. He looked back at them, gesturing to the desert with one hand. "We'll never make it out of here."
"That's all any of you guys care about, yourselves!" Aang yelled at the rest of Team Avatar. He started to walk away from them, ranting, "You don't care about whether Appa is okay or not."
"We're all concerned," Yue told him, as she walked over to Zuko, Toph, and Katara, she was just trying to diffuse the situation even more. "But we can't afford to be fighting right now." Aang knelt down, as Momo and Sokka started to make their way over to him. The Airbender stood up suddenly, announcing, "I'm going after Appa."
He then used his Airbending to launch himself into the sky, as he flew away with his glider. Katara ran forwards, yelling at him, "Aang, wait!" The Airbender didn't stop, and Katara's shoulders dropped, at the same time she sighed. She looked back at everyone, telling the rest of Team Avatar, "We'd better start walking. We're the only people who know about the solar eclipse. We have to get that information to Ba Sing Se."

Everyone slowly started following after the Airbender, with Toph still holding onto Zuko's hand. Sokka looked at his two soulmates, before looking forwards, and jokingly asked, "You think if we dig out the giant owl, you think he'll give us a ride?"

Everyone was exhausted, and they hadn't seen Aang for quite a while. Which was slightly worrying. Zuko was very hot, sweating profusely. He wanted to take off his tank top, but he did not want to at all. Toph was still holding onto his hand, as the assassin practically dragged her along.

He watched Sokka pull Momo off of his back, and set him on his head, pulling out the Flying Lemur's wings. Yue bumped into him, and knocked Momo off of Sokka's head. He looked back at her, starting to say, "Hey, watch where you're going..." But when he saw it was Yue he stopped. Neither of them acknowledged it, as Zuko and Toph walked past them. They kept walking, even after Katara stopped to look back at her brother telling him, "Come on you two, we need to stick together."
"If I sweat anymore, I don't think stickin' together will be a problem," Sokka said, as his sweaty shirt locked onto Yue's, she growled, before pushing him to the ground, unattaching their shirts.
Toph turned her head towards Katara, asking, "Katara, can I have some water?"
Katara nodded. "Okay, but we've gotta try and conserve it." She pulled some of the water out of her pouch, splitting it into three balls, sending one to Sokka, one to Toph, and another one to Momo. Sokka drank it, before pointing at his mouth, asking her, "We're drinking your bending water? You used this on the Swamp guy!"
