"Okay people. My first class tomorrow is Activation1 with Professor Finch. You?" Dakota asks to the group.

"Same." Jonah and Daniel say.

"I have Activation2 with Professor Kane. Anyone else?" I ask.

"Me!" Sage exclaims.

"Looks like I am on my own for this one." Jack mumbles softly.

"It's okay man. Just make some new friends in that class and we'll adopt them into our already amazing family. That is if we approve." Daniel says jokingly.

We all laugh at this.

"We should get going. Find our dorms and settle in. Then meet somewhere for dinner later today. Yeah?" Jonah suggests.

A chorus of agreements comes from the group.

"Dorm 4?" I ask the girls.

"Yes!" Dakota and Sage reply.

"That makes it easier. It's like we were destined to be friends." I say with a smile. "See you guys later. Don't get lost!" I yell back to them as the girls and I turn around a corner to find our dorm.

A short walk later, Sage points out a door with the number 4 on it. I open the door and see 5 beds, 3 on one side and 2 on the other. Sage runs to claim the bed closest to the bay window on the far side of the room. I open a door to find a walk in closet supplies with school apparel. A black hoodie with my last name, Harris, embroidered in a bronze color on the back, hangs on a rack on the left side of the closet. I grab the other black hoodies for the gurls and take them back into the room.

"Okay ladies. I found hoodies. I don't know your last names so find yours. There are four others here, so there are two more girls that have yet to come." Sage takes the hoodie with Marlowe on the back, while Dakota takes the one with Lewis on it.

"Sage Marlowe and Dakota Lewis. I like it." I smile.

"Theodora Harris. I like it." Sage mimics. We all laugh.

"So what do you think about this whole situation?" Dakota asks us.

"I don't know what to think. Us. With inhuman abilities. That's crazy. It's like we're in a freaking sci-fi movie." Sage explains.

I nod in agreement. "If this is all real and we are not just trapped in some freaky simulation, if we actually have these so-called abilities... what is our future going to be like?"

Sage and Dakota exchange a look of confusion.

"Like, would we like help save people? Be like superheroes? Become science experiments? We don't know this place's intentions. We could be on the wrong side of the history. I say we need to keep calm and play along. If anything or anyone becomes suspicious or a threat to all of these innocent kids, we get the hell out of here." I gushed.

"I agree." Says an unfamiliar voice. Our heads snap to the direction the voice came from. A red-headed girl, petite yet strong figured. "The names Amelia. Sorry I scared you guys. I am known to be light on the feet." She says with a chuckle.

"No worries. Amelia, welcome to Dorm 4. This is Sage and Teddy." Dakota explained. "Looks like we have one more girl missing, so why don't we just play a game while we wait?"

"Sure. 21 questions?" Amelia suggests.

"Sounds good to me." I reply. Sage nodding in agreement.

After a few rounds of questions, the door swings open, a brunette with glasses stumbles in, out of breath. She bends down, holding her knees for a moment before lifting her head up and displaying a greeting smile.
