Zach's POV

Dakota and I make our way to the room where the key is. The room number displayed on the security camera said room K5. A small walk later, the door comes into view.

The door handle twists open with ease, we enter quietly and close it behind us. Why aren't there locks on these doors? I don't know, but it sure is easier for us.

The second we appear to them they start pouncing. Dakota immobilizes the first guard and throws his baton to me and I take out the bigger guard. The lady guard starts running towards me but I turn invisible and step to the side, and she collides with the wall. With her back turned to me I take this chance and knock her hard on the back of the head with the baton. She falls with a thump. I turn and see Dakota taking on two scrawny guards. One gets kicked in the stomach and stumbles towards me. With me still invisible, I tap him on the shoulder, he whips around in confusion. He whacks the air with his own baton. I laugh and take his wrist, twisting it so he lets the baton go. He yelps in pain. I walk behind him and channel my sonic waves, clapping my hands on his ears. This action I learned can tear someone's eardrums and causes immense pain and knocks you out in seconds if enough force is implemented. He covers his ears in pain and I kick the back of his leg making him stumble forward. I finish him off by punching his temple to knock him out. Dakota finishes off her guard with a spin kick to the stomach and a blow to the head.

"I sure hope Sage is ready to disengage the alarm." I mutter, steeping over to the key.

It is the shape of an orb but that's good because I remember seeing the gates keyhole the same size and shape. I reach out and slowly grab the sphere. I lift it up and make a face, hoping not to trip the alarm. I release a breath that I didn't know I was holding.

"She did it." Dakota smiles.

"Yeah. Let's get out of here." I sigh, grabbing onto Dakota and making us disappear from sight. I slip the orb into my backpack and we make our way back to Sage.

The door to the security room opens and a relieved Sage walks out. I make us appear to her and she smiles.

"One minute to spare. Let's go. We are gonna be late." She speaks out of breath.

"What happened to you?" Dakota asks.

"Oh. Just that big guy... he somehow was able to fight of the ice you out him under and jumped at me. Lucky for me, I am a badàss. Not lucky for him, he is unconscious." She laughs.

Jonah's POV

After the meet up in Sanctum, Daniel, Lou, and I separate from the group to begin our part of the plan.

Get some guards and male them talk. Specifically, make them give us Corbyn and Jack's location.

We walk down the hallway very quietly all the way down to the training room. There would be two guards on night-watch duty.

I lead in front, approaching the corner. I sneak my head passed the wall to see down the hallway. Daniel and Lou behind me waiting for my signal.

I see the guards standing as stiff as boards. At this time, they would watch this hallway because some students snuck out of their dorms to do stuff. If you know what I mean. And this is the only way to the secret teen hang out area. I have never been there myself but I hear kids in my class jabbering on about their latest gossip of so-and-so doing the deed there. Word gets around fast with kids, and the teachers are so dâmn oblivious. More and more kids snuck out and I guess that spot became the designated hook up spot.
