Still Teddy's POV
"This time, we stay together." Daniel says.
"Yeah. And we leave no one behind." Jonah finishes.
"This is actually happening?" Dakota asks.
"Absolutely. We fight and we fight hard, alright." I demand.
They all nod at my encouragement.
"Does everyone have their defenses? Any motivational speeches?" Jonah asks.
"Nope. But I love you guys. I am so happy to have met you wonderful, amazing people who I now call family." Sage says with a single tear escaping her eye.
We all give each other another hug and wish good luck in this fight for freedom.
When Daniel comes up to me for a hug, suddenly I couldn't keep the tears in. A few tears escape and Daniel wipes them away before they fall to the floor. He brings me into a strong, comforting hug.
"I have been trying to keep myself strong for everyone but I can't help but be scared for my life." I whisper in his ear, still in his embrace.
"We won't let anything happen to you Ted. You don't have to hide your emotions. Every single one of us is scared. But if we stick together, we can do this. We can win. So be strong for us. And for our friends who need saving. Okay?" He softly whispers in my ear. I hug him tighter and nod into his chest. We release from each others grips and Daniel looks into my eyes and smiles assuring. I softly smile back. We direct our attention back to the rest of the group.
"Let's do this." Zach enforces. "It's morphin' time!"
We laugh and begin to make our way quietly down to the main hall to the headmaster's quarters.
"If I were a secret prison, I would totally be in the headmasters vicinity. So it's probably really close to her office." Jonah explains quietly.
"We where just there. We didn't search the whole place but it's probably hidden. Maybe a secret door?" Sage suggests.
"We group up in pairs but we don't lose sight of each other. We only leave the group unless we need to." Jonah politely commands.
We nod and quietly turn down the hall to the auditorium and across the to the headmaster's hall. Daniel and I separate from the group once we step into the arch way into the hall.
Daniel walks us over to a corner and we start checking the walls from there until we reach the the next turn. On the next wall there is an elevator. Daniel and I press the button and it opens after a few moments. A keypad and a bunch of buttons decorate the side wall.
"Let's get everyone in here." I say and Daniel signals everyone over.
They all walk into the metal container except for Zach, who stands at the door so it won't close us in.
"This is probably the only way to level X. But the problem is a fingerprint and retinal scan." Daniel sighs.
"There's a million buttons here. How do we know which one gets us there?" Dakota asks.
"Maybe the one that has the letter 'x' on it?" I point out.
"No way... I can be that easy, right?" Zach asks.
"Well let's put it to the test." Lou says putting her hand on the scanner and eye up to the retinal scan. Her eyes shine magenta as she does this.
"Welcome. Headmaster Hughes. Where are you heading?" A female robot voice speaks.
