"Nice to meet you. I don't really wanna be here."- UPSAHL, People I Don't Like

Chapter Three
-

HAKAI WAS INSTRUCTED to go straight to the coffee shop that was in the center of Musutafu, a few blocks away from a well-known hero school in Japan.

She's got to admit, she missed the place. She's lived so far away from home since she started at Shiketsu because of their dorms- and the fact that it was on the another side of the country. That's why home sounded so good when the school year had ended a week ago.

She walked down the road, casually stuffing her gloved hands inside her pockets as she did so. She didn't bother taking off her motorcycle gloves. It was so troublesome if she had to do that. Besides, she liked the snug fit of the gear on her hands.

Since there was no parking space in front of the cafe, she opted to parking it a few blocks down the road- right beside the high school her cousin attended. She hopes that their security wouldn't mind having the motorcycle parked out front. Besides, she planned on making this whole blind date fast anyway.

Her phone vibrated in her pocket, eliciting the most embarrassing ringtone in the world.

"A phone call is here! A phone call is here!"

Hakai halted in her steps.

The girl took her phone out and automatically answered the call, ignoring the blatantly judgemental stares she got from the bystanders.

"Sero." She addressed herself with her signature introduction. "The hell do you want?"

There was heavy breathing on the other end, making her feel creeped out.

Curious, she looked at the caller ID and saw that it was from her cousin Hanta. The heavy breathing must be from training so hard the whole day.

"Hey I'm almost at the coffee sh-"

"Change of plans!" A voice that most definitely didn't belong to her cousin cut her off.

"Uh, who is th-"

"I'll text you the address of the blind date. Don't go to the cafe." The person on the other end said, before dropping the call instantly.

Hakai blinked as she looked at the now ended call. "... Okay?"

That was unusual.

She doesn't know who that person was but from the looks of it, maybe Sero had instructed him to update her of the change of address.

She shrugged to herself, she couldn't care less. She just wants to get this whole thing over with so that she can go home and continue to ignore boys for the rest of her life.

Her phone beeped. "A message is here! A message is here!"

From: The Other Sero 🕸️

Aoba Johsai Restaurant, he'll meet you there. Just say- Reservation for Sero.

She blinked, looking at the message.

The name of the restaurant was familiar. She squinted her eyes and looked up. There it was, across the street. Written in elegantly twirled white and blue letters were the words Aoba Johsai Restaurant. That's why it was so familiar, she saw it earlier.

The fact that it was expensive didn't faze her at all, neither did the fact that almost all the people who were coming in and out of the place were formally dressed.

However, she did find it quite bothersome to go to places like this full of snobby people.

She could only imagine the stupid insults she'd be rolling her eyes to later on.
