"It started with a whisper. That was when I kissed her!"- Everybody Talks

Chapter One
-

HAKAI SERO WOKE up in hell.

Literal fucking hell.

The sunlight was in her eyes, she was as cold as ice from the lack of duvet and comforter that probably fell off her bed while she was asleep, and her stupid ringtone was blaring in her ear like a crying newborn baby on drugs.

"Jesus Christ." She grumbled as she blindly reached for her phone.

She squinted her eyes and decided against reopening them- her blinds were wide open so she couldn't risk losing her eyesight from the stupid bright sun.

"Sero." She answered the phone, introducing herself as she did so.

Force of habit.

"The hell do you want?" And there it is.

Another force of habit.

If only her personality was as beautiful as her face.

If there's one thing you need to know about our protagonist, it's that she's beautiful.

Her features are more than striking. She has a midnight blue eye that looks like the night sky when you gaze into them and a crystalline blue eye that looked like the deepest depths of the ocean, a button nose, baby pink lips, a well-structured face, and the most noticable feature she has- her dual colored hair.

A complete contrast to her stoic heterochromatic eyes, her hair was more on the dynamic side of things. Her right side was dark blue, and her left was white.

At birth, the doctors said that the dual colors of her features possibly had something to do with her quirk. And it wasn't until she was 4 that they figured out that the doctors were correct.

Her quirk was-

"Hi Kai-chan!" The bubbly personality of her cousin, Hanta flowed through the phone, instantly turning her mood up a bit.

She and Hanta were close. They're like two peas in a pod. Since neither Hakai not Hanta had siblings, they were inseparable.

"Oh hey Hanta-kun." Hakai murmured lazily.

She wondered why Hanta suddenly called in the early hours of a Saturday morning. However, this is Hanta we're talking about. He does the most unexpected things.

It wouldn't be a surprise if he had called her just to say that his tape dispenser elbows were drying out and that he needed moisturizer recommendations.

"Remember when I told you about going on a blind date with one of my friends?"

Ah, Hakai remembers very clearly.

It was just last week, the very first day of break when Hanta barged inside her house, shooting her questions about her high school life at Shiketsu, her social life, and her lovelife.

She told Sero everything about her high school life and social life, however when he asked about her lovelife-

"No time for that." She yawned as her cousin plopped onto her bed that afternoon.

Hanta frowned, "Why not?"

"You're pretty enough." Her cousin pondered over it a bit. "Maybe the guys at your school think you're too boyish, don't ya' think?"

Hakai threw a textbook at Hanta's head, hitting him square in the face. The boy yelped in pain.

"Shut up. They're just weak." She yawned again. "Besides, like I said, I have no time for that."

Also, another besides is the fact that Shiketsu High School is so traditional and old-fashioned to the extent that dating is not allowed.

"What if I set you up with one of my friends?" Hanta proposed.

"It'll be a blind date. If it doesn't work out on the first try you can opt out anytime. Besides, it's just two hours max, not much of your time will be wasted."

Sleepy, and a little inebriated with the liters of chocolate milk she'd been drinking earlier in the day, Hakai just nodded in agreement.

"Sure, whatever."

Yeah, she wasn't beings serious about agreeing to the while blind date with one of Hanta's friends. She was sleepy and just agreed to whatever Hanta said back then.

"Yeah, I remember." Hakai murmured lazily, answering her cousin's question over the phone.

"Why?"

"Well, I set you up with my friend! The date is later today. I'll send you the details through text. Gotta go, bye!" Then, Hanta ended the call before Hakai could register what he said.

"Yeah, bye." She muttered, still sleepy.

She dropped her phone beside her and was beginning to doze off again when her phone pinged.

"A message is here! A message is here!"

Yeah, she has All Might as her ringtone. Don't be judgemental.

She groaned in annoyance before clicking her phone on. Squinting her eyes, she saw that it was a message from Hanta.

From: The Other Sero 🕸️

Karasuno's Coffee at 5 PM

"Karasuno's coffee..." She read out loud.

She shrugged. In her clouded and sleepy state, she couldn't even comprehend the conversation she and Hanta just had earlier.

Just as she was about the drop her phone beside her and go back to sleep, a message notification popped up again.

From: The Other Sero 🕸️

Don't be late for your blind date later, Iki-chan! 😗 Love u.

"Yeah.. love you too." She mumbled underneath her breath as she began nodding off.

Blind date.

Hakai's eyes snapped open. She didn't even care that the sunlight was burning her eyes.

The two words rushed in her dreams that she had to wake up.

She re-read everything. Her eyes narrowed at the text as she slowly came to consciousness.

'Blind...' She pondered. '...Date?'

Hakai blinked.

She read the text again and racked her brain to remember the conversation she had with Hanta earlier.

"I set you up with my friend..." Hanta's words from earlier came back to her.

She blinked.

She read the text again, eyes narrowing on two words that seemed so intimidating.

Hakai blinked.

'Blind date' She read again.

Her eyes widened.

And then she screamed, shaking the entire Sero household.

"HANTAAAAAA!"

Meanwhile, Hanta Sero, who was in their dorms cooking dinner, sneezed.

A concerned Denki Kaminari handed him a tissue. "Bless you, man."
