"It's easier to be the bad guy. No other expectations- just be bad."- Quote, Rule #1
Chapter Four
-HAKAI LOOKED AT the boy with narrowed eyes but still disregarded the nickname he just called her.
"You're late, extra."
She internally scoffed, 'What a great way to greet a blind date- not.'
She sat down on the chair adjacent to his, ignoring the way his crimson eyes seemed to be judging her every move.
Is this what Hanta thought her type was?
The brooding, full-of-himself guy with a (Hakai's guess) superiority complex?
She inwardly sighed, she is so gonna get Hanta back for this.
The two were quiet. None of them spoke, which made Hakai feel a little awkward.
Well, guess she has to start the blind date now- seeing as the ash blonde boy in front of her didn't seem like he had any intention of doing so.
She held out a hand for him to shake.
"I'm Hakai Sero." She introduced herself. "And you are?"
The boy in front of her stared at her hand as if it was some sort of disease.
Hakai sweatdropped. She shouldn't have offered a hand for him to shake-
Warm, strong hands grasped hers before she could finish her internal mumble.
"Name's Katsuki Bakugo." He grumbled, eyes not meeting hers.
His head was turned to the side, cheeks tinged a bit pink as he introduced himself.
Jesus Christ. Bakugo didn't know he was supposed to do things like this on a blind date.
'Katsuki Bakugo,' She thought to herself, 'Sounds oddly familiar.'
Hakai blinked, watching how well their hands intertwined- before the guy retracted his and crossed his arms again.
And then, it was as silent as it was two seconds ago.
None of them uttered a word.
Hakai was glaring at the table napkins, busy thinking of ways to strangle her cousin because of this whole blind date he set her up on.
On the other hand, Bakugo was.. well, Bakugo. His crimson red eyes were averted to the side as he racked his brain up for the date tips dunce face had taught him earlier. Sadly, all the tips were mixed up and he didn't know how to word them properly.
An awkwardly silent minute later, the waiter came to get their orders, putting them out of their misery.
Both of them refused to having appetizers, so they were ordering the main course.
Hakai gave the menu a once-over. "The sushi platter."
The waiter blinked at her. The sushi platter was such a huge order- he looked at the girl's date- maybe it was already for the both of them?
"And will that be all for your main course?" He carefully asked.
"You haven't asked for my order yet, dumbass." The ash blonde haired boy fumed from behind the waiter.
The waiter faced him, anxiously gripping the notepad in his hands as he asked for the boy's order.
Hakai internally sighed. Her earlier theory of her blind date having a superiority complex has officially been confirmed.
