"I used to hear a simple song, that is until you came along."- Symphony
Chapter Nine
-"CALL ME, 'KAY?" Camie Utsushimi's light brown hair flowed with the wind as she and Inasa Yoarashi entered the taxi, waving goodbye to Hakai Sero.
Hakai offered them a small smile, waving lightly, "I will."
Inasa grinned at her, "BEAT SOME UA STUPIDENTS FOR US!"
The girl with heterochromatic eyes chuckled to herself before mumbling, "I'm literally a UA stupident now."
The car started to drive off into the distance, leaving Hakai on her own in the cold night.
After she had settled in with the help of her Shiketsu friends, the two had to leave- unfortunately they weren't allowed to stay over. So Hakai went out and booked an Uber to take them to the nearest train station so they can go back to the opposite side of Japan within the night.
The dark fell onto the night sky like a pitch black blanket, leaving no trace of the sunset hues that were present mere minutes ago. Hakai knew for a fact that it was barely past seven, and yet the night sky seemed to be at its peak already.
Her fingers absentmindedly tugged at the hem of her white volleyball shirt as she made her way back inside the campus. The dorms were a significant distance from the gates, and she already forgot where their building's exact location was at.
She sweatdropped, disappointment evident in her features as she slumped, walking. She definitely regretted turning down the offer of the blonde guy who looked like a pikachu incarnate earlier. It was the guy who was obnoxiously ranting about the new student- her- earlier. He'd offered to accompany her while seeing her Shiketsu friends out, but she declined the offer simply because he looked like a talkative social butterfly- while she on the other hand, would rather die than to listen to someone talk for hours.
Well right now, she definitely thinks that enduring an obnoxiously ranting teenager is better than getting lost in her way back to her dorms at half-past seven in the evening.
Oh, joy.
Her stomach grumbled, alerting her that she hadn't had dinner yet. From what Aizawa-sensei had mentioned to her earlier, students were often tasked to cook daily meals by group. For example Student 1 and Student 2 will cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner for Monday, Student 3 and Student 4 will cook the same for Tuesday, and so on and so forth. They kept the daily cycle like that.
However, she was not certain whether or not she was also part of the meal for the night. The tasked chefs tonight probably weren't even aware of her arrival so they probably didn't include her in the measurements of food that's supposed to be cooked.
Her stomach grumbled again, making her groan in frustration.
She had to eat food sooner or later. She probably wasn't going to get any door from the dorms since they most likely haven't cooked her share yet, so she had to find another way to get her stomach full.
She halted in her footsteps, an idea suddenly popping into her mind. She felt her pockets and sighed in relief to see that her wallet was there. She looked back and the gate wasn't that much far of a walk from where she was currently at. Momentarily setting aside the fact that she was lost and didn't remember where her dorms were, she raced outside the gate to get some delicious food for her tummy.

Hakai Sero pushed open the glass door of the nearest cafe, immediately being greeted by the delicious smell of food.
Katasuno's Coffee, she read the sign earlier.
It reminded her that this was where she first saw the other half-n-half yesterday- Todoroki was his name. The thought of him made her cheeks burn.
But a frown quickly pulled down her lips when she remembered that this was also the original setting for her blind date with that ash blonde boom-boom boy, Bakugo.
She took a seat on the farthest booth at the back, wanting a sense of privacy in the public setting. She took a quick look at the menu that was laid down in front of her and immediately figured out her order. Despite it being a cafe, this joint had also offered rice meals, and the like. It was convenient for her.
"Good evening." She looked up to meet purple eyes, the owner of the voice.
He had messy purple hair, dull purple eyes, and an overall Aizawa-sensei vibe. He looked like his secret love child or something. He was wearing his work uniform- a black polo shirt, matching black jeans, and a brown apron. He held an order clipboard and a pen in each of his hands.
"Are you ready to order?" He asked. His eyes travelled to her fierce features. Her split-colored hair caught his attention earlier for the mere fact that she looked familiar, and despite it already being five minutes past his work hours, he still went ahead and took her order.
She nodded, "I'll have Chicken Katsu and a plain black iced coffee."
He wrote that down, and then looked up at her again, only to find that she was looking at his apron- or at least to what was attached to the upper left side of it.
It was a white UA button pin, it had the mark Class 2A at the bottom, which caught Hakai's interest.
"You go to UA?" The heterochromatic eyed girl asked.
The purple-haired boy nodded.
"Class 2A." She mumbled, looking at him. "Hero Course? Aizawa-sensei's class?"
Slightly taken aback, the purple-haired boy nodded again. "Yeah."
A small smile traced on her lips, one that was welcoming and kind- it was almost a complete contrast to her personality with Hanta Sero earlier.
She held out her hand to him, "Hakai Sero, I'm your new classmate."
The boy blinked, looking at her hand. He was informed, along with the rest of the class that they were getting a new transferee yesterday. That's why she looked familiar- he alone was given the privilege to see her ID photo in the transfer file yesterday while he was cleaning Aizawa-sensei's office table. He didn't know that she was coming this soon.
He was frozen in place for a moment before he took her hand in his and shook it. "Hitoshi Shinso."
"Nice to meet you." Hakai offered him a slight smile.
He then cleared his throat, "U-Uh.. Would that be your order? Or would you like dessert as well?"
Hakai looked at the menu again, "Blueberry cheesecake, three of that please. Also, bring me the check please."
Shinso nodded, "Right. I'll be back with your order and the check."
True to his word, a few minutes later, he came back with her order and the check. She paid for her food, and before she knew it, she was digging in the most amazing food in the planet.
However, as the glass door to the shop opened and she caught sight of Shinso's retreating figure as he left to go back to the dorms from work, she internally groaned in frustration.
Why?
Miss Hakai forgot to ask for directions to the dormitories.
