Secrets Out?

Boran's P.O.V

Great. This is just great. Bamsi Bey looks around the tent, almost scanning the scene while the alps can't seem to stop laughing. "Oy Alplar! Tell me what is it that you find so funny." Bamsi Bey says in his deep voice, "Tell me, so this old man can laugh as well." I turn and continue glaring at Ayaz and Dumrul, but it's a lost cause. Bamsi Bey probably already knows exactly what's going on with all his years of experience. The table had been cleared of the dishes from dinner and Bamsi Bey sat right alongside us. Goktug grins at me, mischief twinkling in his eyes as he opens his mouth to speak. 'Oh no,' I think, 'I'm screwed'.  "Boran's in-" he starts and I wrestle him to the ground clasping a hand over his mouth. But, Goktug's always been able to beat me in wrestling. He quickly throws me off of him and runs to the other side of the tent. Bamsi Bey watches in amusement while the other alps just laugh. "BORAN'S IN LOOV-" Goktug yells loud enough for the entire tribe to hear. I clasp my hand over his mouth, but it's a bit too late. I groan as the red color returns to my face. "Vay Vay Vay Boran'm, I thought I'd never see the day." Bamsi begins.

(A little switch in P.O.V now)

Gonca's P.O.V

Bala and I ate dinner together with Aygul as Osman Bey was off on a mission. We sat just talking when we decided to take a stroll outside in the cold air. We share our experiences of being Ahi girls with Aygul. I barely listened to the conversation around, reminiscing in the memory of today. The brown-haired alp had finally talked to me, even asked me to ride my horse with him. I smile slightly, Boran's probably getting teased right now. I saw Ayaz and Dumrul standing there at the beginning, but decided not to tell Boran.  "Gonca'm," Bala says. "Is everything alright? I said your name twice." She asks, "I-I'm fine, don't worry." I assure her. "It doesn't have anything to do with Boran Alp does it?" Bala teases, and I blush slightly. 'How does everyone know about this already?'  I just shake my head, smiling. Bala just narrows her eyes at me. "Oh really, what about the fact that Boran asked you to race your horse with him?" I snap my head towards her, my face flushing.  "So it IS true," Aygul mutters. Just as I'm about to try and think of a response, we hear loud laughter from the alp tent.

We turn our heads towards the alp tent as we walk. The laughter continues followed by a loud thud. Then we hear a voice that's definitely Goktug Alp's yell, "BORAN'S IN LOOV- "  Bala and Aygul turn to me raising their eyebrows. Well, that answers my thought of Boran being teased. We, then hear Boran painfully groan. That sends Bala and Aygul into laughter as I keep my eyes on the floor.  The door of the alp tent suddenly flips open, revealing an extremely red-faced Boran. Aygul and Bala look up at the sound and don't even try to hide their giggling. Boran spots me standing there alongside Bala and Aygul. His jaw drops and his eyes go wide, his face seemed to go even redder if that was even possible.  "Seriously", he grumbles under his breath. Bala and Aygul continue snickering at our expressions. Boran fumbles over his words like a toddler for a minute and smiles sheepishly before closing the door. "Well, that answers our question."

Boran P.O.V

I try to say something after seeing Bala, Aygul, and Gonca standing there, but I couldn't seem to form words. And by the looks of their faces, they definitely heard Goktug's announcement. Gonca didn't seem mad, she just smiled at me and I smiled back sheepishly. I shut the door and lean against it, sitting on the floor. My almost dreamy smile staying on my face and the color of my face lightening. It may have been embarrassing, but it made me happy. I almost forgot the alps and Bamsi Bey were still sitting there watching me.  They all just watched quietly with small smiles. "What now?" I ask, wondering why they looked so sentimental all of a sudden.

"Aww, you sounded like a little kid," Goktug teased. And this time, I just chuckled. This was quite the day.

This chapter isn't based on a scene from the show, but I thought it would be funny to write about.
