Boran alp P.O.V

We're being marched the front of the tribe, surrounded by children with Gunduz leading them. When we get to the center, I'm pretty sure everyone has just stopped to watch us.

"I'm being put in time out in my own tribe," Osman grumbles, and Yigit speaks from beside him. "That's what you get for saying a bad word, Osman Bey." He says and Osman sighs.

Goktug is having the time of his life with this, having Gunduz and the kids constantly shush him. When we walk past the rug house, I see Bala Hatun, Gonca, and Aygul. "What happened, Zehra?" Bala Hatun asks, "They said a bad word!"

They walk towards Zehra, "What did they say, Zehra?" Gonca asks, clear amusement in her voice. She kneels, gesturing for Zehra to whisper it in her ear. "You're in trouble now, Boran," Osman whispers and I roll my eyes. "And you're going to be in trouble too." I retort while Goktug grins smugly.

"And I'm not, the perks of not being married," He says and I scoff, "Being married means I don't have to hang out with you every hour of the day." Osman laughs, "Good point, Boran." Goktug looks offended, "Excuse me, Boran. I'm a pleasure to hang out with." I roll my eyes, "Yeah, yeah, sure you are."

Zehra whispers into Gonca's ear, and Gonca gives a dramatic gasp. I fight off a smile, and Gonca shoots me a look, "I'm disappointed, Boran Alp."

I smile sheepishly as Goktug snickers, "Where are you taking them now?" Bala hatun asks, "To Time-out," Ahmet replies strictly. I see Gonca try not to laugh, "Well, go on then." We keep walking, and Goktug nudges me, "My questions still stands, Boran." He says in a mischievous voice, "Keep it up and you won't be able to stand, idiot." I shoot back in the same tone.

"Gunduz Bey, Boran Alp said another bad word!" Yigit calls out and Gunduz Bey turns around, "Seriously, Boran? Again?" Osman elbows me, "Good going, Moron," Gunduz Bey turns to him, "That's also a bad word, Osman."

Goktug laughs, "You guys are-" he cuts himself off, and I smirk, he was going to call us idiots. "... incredibly good people." He finishes and Gunduz raises his eyebrows, "Oh really?" Goktug nods, biting his lip to stop from laughing.

"Where are we going anyway?" Osman Bey asks, "To your Marquee," Gunduz calls back without turning around. Osman frowns, "I'm going to be put in timeout in my own Marquee?" "Yep, Just like old times, Osman," Gunduz replies with a grin, and Osman groans.

The guards open the door and we all walk inside. The kids make us three sit on the floor and push the cushions to form a barrier around us.

May I come in, Bey?" Baysungur asks from outside, "Gel, Baysungur!" Osman calls and the door opens, Baysungur walks in, glancing around the room like he wants to laugh. Osman Bey just smiles, "It's a long story, but what happened?"

Baysungur hands him a letter, "Selcan Ana sent a letter, Bey'm." Osman Bey perks up, "Wait, can I read letters in timeout, Abi?" Gunduz chuckles, "Yeah, sure," Osman opens the letters, his eyes scanning over the page. "What does Selcan Ana say, Kardesh?" Gunduz Bey asks, and Osman Bey smiles, "She's coming here with a convoy from her tribe soon!"

"When?" Gunduz Bey asks excitedly, "2 months," Osman Bey replies. "Good, now stop having fun you are in time-out." Gunduz Bey says, sternly snatching the letter from Osman.  Osman frowns and all the kids laugh, "How much longer does this time out last?" Goktug whines and Gunduz rolls his eyes.

"Until you've learned your lesson, Goktug Alp," Zehra says, poking Goktug and I snicker. "Dang Goktug, she's using your full name."

"Osman Bey, Boran," Gunduz Bey says and I look up, "You two are free." We both jump up, stepping out the circle, "Hey, what about me?" Goktug asks, "You wouldn't shush, so you can stay in there for a little longer."

"That's not fair!" Goktug exclaims and we hear Orhan and Melike cry from the other room. Osman Bey shoots Goktug a look as he steps into the other room. "Now you've made my niece and nephew cry, so that extends your time out, Goktug." Gunduz Bey says, and Goktug sighs.

"I'm going to ditch you now, so... have fun in time out, Goktug!" I say, hitting the back of his head and going out the door.

I walk outside, and soon Gonca comes to walk beside me. "Out of time-out, Boran?" I chuckle, "Yep," "What did you even say to offend a large group of children?"  I look to her, raising an eyebrow, "Didn't Zehra tell you?" Gonca shakes her head, "She didn't tell me exactly what you said, she just said it was a really bad word."

I nod, "Goktug just said something... really stupid, and I accidentally told him to shut up a little too loud." Gonca laughs a little, "What did he say that was so annoying?" I draw a blank, remembering exactly what Goktug said. "Uh... Just something dumb and stupid... like always."

Gonca raises an eyebrow at me, letting me know she's on to me, "And then Gunduz Bey came and gave the idea to put us in time out. Just like old times."  Gonca smiles, glancing at me, "You would get in trouble a lot when you were younger?" I nod, "More times than I would like to admit. Whenever someone came to the tribe, Ertugrul Bey would pull us to the side and tell us not to pull something stupid."

"And now, multiple years later, you are back in timeout." I laugh, "Unfortunately, yes, some things never change."

A/N: Hello Hello, everybody. Now to all of you wondering the same thing as Goktug, I mean do the math. Orhan and Melike are supposed to be a little less than a year older than Aylah. Currently, the twins are 1 month old. There is your answer, ;)

And if you can't figure it out... maybe you need to pay more attention in math class.
