"Fuck you."
Dahyun has been guffawing for the last few minutes. "Wow," she says, catching her breath. "I can't believe you fell for that!" She keeps slapping her knees while laughing.
Wow, and this girl has the audacity to laugh? "I wonder what will happen if I actually slice your head off," I mutter, summoning a broadsword. Dahyun catches my drift and stands straight. How could I forget that no one actually dies in a dream?! Momo, you're such a dunce.
"Why are you so hostile today?" she asks, stifling a chuckle.
Really? She's asking me this? Not wanting to entertain her, I walk away.
"Hey, wait! I'm serious," she says, pulling my wrist, which I flinch from. "What the hell's your problem?!"
"You," I shout, causing the surroundings to wobble. "You made me look like an idiot!"
She raises an eyebrow. "What? Is this about playing dead? It's just a jok—"
"Do you have any idea how long I waited for you?! At that café that you yourself picked?"
"Wha-what...? What are you talking about?"
"You're kidding, right?" Unbelievable. At least douchebags are honest about being scum. This girl's something else. Preventing myself from removing her head off her shoulders, I storm out.
"Wait, please," she calls out, wrapping her arm around my waist. "Don't...don't leave me."
I try to wriggle out of her embrace, and she tightens it further. "Let go of me!"
Dahyun releases me, as I stumble a few feet forward. I turn towards her, only to see her lips trembling. "I-I'm sorry...something came up and I didn't know how to reach you."
More than the welling of her eyes, what immediately catches my attention is her hair changing its color. Black. Completely in contrast with her skin. Holy shit, she looks gorgeous in it.
"It's...okay. I'm sorry for overreacting. Aside from being stood up, I was worried about you." While, yes, part of me worried that something bad might've happened, I'm mostly fuming earlier to be honest. Damn it, Momo. Why're you such a simp for this woman?

"Now this is more my speed," Dahyun says as we float near the Milky Way. "Better than a zombie apocalypse, at least."
To make the mood more relaxing, I let Tycho's "Awake" be our background music.
"Ah, you have good taste," Dahyun remarks with a smile.
I want to say "Yeah, look at me: I have a crush on a psycho like you" but I just return the gesture. "Thanks."
She swims over to me, eyeing me through my helmet.
"What?"
"I just wonder what you looked like in that café," she says.
Without a moment's hesitation, I change into what I wore earlier.
"Aww, I wouldn't have been able to contain myself if I saw you like that," Dahyun exclaims. She then proceeds to check me out by circling around like a predator assessing its prey.
"How about you? What would you have worn...had you shown up?"
Dahyun closes her eyes, humming multiple times. "It's a secret," she replies with a silly grin.
"What?!"
"You'll know when we finally meet," she says, chuckling, as she floats around me.
I huff, not wanting to fall for the same trap twice. "And how long would that be?"
Dahyun wraps her arms around me, her head on my shoulder. "You never know. It might just be very soon," she whispers beneath my earlobe. I'd get goosebumps, probably, if this was happening in real life. But it's okay, I'll settle for this in the meantime.
Turning around to face her, I ask: "Is it okay if I..." As I speak, my arms snake their way over her shoulders.
She looks up at me, a little smile forming at the corner of her lips. "You know how I feel about you...should you even ask?"
God, she's so beautiful. Momo simp count: two.
I close my eyes for a second, and Taylor Swift's "Delicate" starts to play as we dance with the stars...literally.
"At least give me your number, Dahyun-ssi."
